From October 19th to 20th, the Ningde Municipal Party Committee Veteran Cadre Bureau and the Municipal Committee retired cadre working committee held a work exchange meeting on the creation of party building demonstration points for retired cadres in the city. Wu Jianping, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Municipal CPC Committee, director of the Bureau of Veteran Cadres, and secretary of the Working Committee for Retired Cadres; members of the Working Committee of Retired Cadres of the Municipal CPC Committee; relevant leaders of the Bureau of Veteran Cadres of the County (City, District) Cpc Committee; deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party Working Committee of the Dongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone; and responsible persons of relevant units and retired cadres of the municipal party organizations attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Chen Deming, full-time deputy secretary of the Working Committee of Retired Cadres of the Municipal Party Committee.
Meeting site
The meeting adopted the forms of on-site observation and centralized exchanges to deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "July 1st" important speech and the spirit of the Fifth Party Congress of Ningde City, closely followed the requirements of the Municipal Party Congress to "strengthen the construction of party organizations for retired cadres and do a solid job in the work of old cadres", summarized and exchanged the construction of party building demonstration points for retired cadres, and studied and deployed the work of continuously deepening the creation of demonstration points.
The meeting pointed out that continuously deepening the creation of party building demonstration points for retired cadres is not only the actual need to strengthen the party building work of retired cadres in Ningde City, but also an important starting point for promoting the high-quality development of the work of retired cadres in the new era. Since 2018, Ningde City has taken the lead in the province to carry out the creation of party building demonstration sites for retired cadres, explored the formation of the "three threes" work method for party building of retired cadres with Ningde characteristics, that is, highlighted the "three constructions" of political construction, team construction and position construction, promoted the "three-level joint creation" of the party working committee of retired cadres, the party organization of the unit where they are located and the party branch of retired cadres, and cultivated the "three-type demonstration" of affiliation, fun and geography.
The meeting called for continuous and in-depth study of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's "July 1st" important speech and continuously enhancing the "three political forces". It is necessary to organize the vast number of retired cadres and party members to conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Municipal Party Congress and strengthen their responsibility. It is necessary to better grasp and promote the party building work of retired cadres, and at the same time continue to deepen the creation of demonstration points, and strive to cultivate a number of demonstration points of "party building + cultural inheritance", "party building + volunteer service" and "party building + silver shine".
In order to strengthen learning and exchanges, the participants before the meeting observed the first party branch of the municipal highway development center, the party branch of the Upper East Manhattan Community in dongqiao hubin community, and the sixteenth party branch of the ningde intermediate people's court. The meeting also issued the "Propaganda Manual for Party Building Demonstration Points for Retired Cadres in Ningde City (I)" and awarded medals to the third batch of demonstration sites for party building work of retired cadres.

Participants at the meeting said that they should take the study and implementation of the spirit of the municipal party congress as the driving force, further enhance understanding, strengthen responsibility, take effective measures to promote the creation of demonstration points for party building work of retired cadres, improve quality and efficiency, and continuously improve the level of party building of retired cadres in the city.
