"Beaded embroidery" peacock feather butterfly, swan and beetle brooch production

Part I

Prepare sketches and models

Stitch glitter on the contour

Three pairs of feathers of similar color, size and shape

Part II

Material: Swamp-colored pearls, three per wing, about 5 mm in size. The cut beads are brown and green in size 3 mm. The 3 mm sequin is the same as the glitter on the lower wing.

Embroidery starts from the top corner of the outside.

Make tentacles strung with 10 antique gold beads

Cut off, leaving 6-7 mm of seams along the contour.

Sew fastening needles

Swan brooch

Main materials: pencils, brushes, paper, scissors, cotton, silk, needles for coarse cotton threads and fine beads, beads, sequins, small black eyeballs, brooch base, filler (any), paint for fabrics and acrylic paint for beaks.

Draw a sketch

Cut the template and transfer the image to the felt

Cut a few wings from the felt

Sew them to fill them with smaller felts

After the pigment has dried, the beak is covered with an acrylic varnish, which will become durable and shiny

Beetle brooch (by Kate Ldoll)

Main materials: oval stone, beads 10-12 mm (natural pearls), crystal rondels 5x6mm (6 black pieces and green 2 pieces), crystal rondels 3x4mm black about 14 pieces, crystal bicones 4mm brown 2pcs, size 10 black and green copper beads, metal thread for claws and antennae, brooch buckle, embroidered non-woven base, cardboard, leather is black and brown; Embroidered beads of thread, glue, needles, scissors and pliers, etc

Sew an oval bead, attach the pearl to it, then a green lens, which will be the eye of the bug, a black bead head, the oval beads around the perimeter of the small crystal, followed by 5 large beads.

The gap between the beads on the beetle's head is filled with copper beads. After that, carefully cut off the excess felt along the contour. Bend the legs and antennae, apply to the calves, pretending to be in the position that needs to be placed.

Stitch the legs on the back, cut the shape of the beetle from the cardboard, and glue the inside together. Mark the hole on a piece of black leather to insert the fastener of the brooch.

Insert and glue a fastener to the brooch, glue a piece of leather to the embroidery with a fastener, and cut off the excess skin.

Cover the edges with black beads

Cut the two wings pattern from the paper and embroider the wings.

Make the cardboard shorter than the embroidery and make the wings convex. When covered, they straighten a little, but they don't flatten. Glued to the inside of the wings with brown leather, cut off the excess, and then cut off the edges in the same way with copper beads.
