Since 2021, the Longxian People's Procuratorate has given full play to the function of juvenile procuratorial work, relying on law enforcement and case handling, actively carrying out juvenile procuratorial work, and helping minors grow up healthily through procuratorial performance.
The first is to earnestly perform procuratorial functions and handle cases involving undeserved cases in accordance with law. Always adhere to the working principle of giving priority to education and supplementing punishment, and implement the principle of "education, reform, and rescue" to handle criminal cases involving minors. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 6 cases involving unreleased arrests involving 6 people have been accepted, 4 cases and 4 people have not been approved, and 2 cases and 2 people have been approved. Accepted 4 cases and prosecuted 4 people, 3 people filed public prosecutions, and 1 case and 1 person did not prosecute. In handling cases, the county justice bureau was entrusted to carry out a social investigation of the minors involved in the case, and the social investigation rate was 100%. Earnestly carry out efforts to seal juvenile criminal records, actively expand the sources of juvenile judicial aid cases, and truly protect the lawful rights and interests of minors.
The second is to continue to carry out the activity of "sending the law to the campus" in depth. In response to the relevant legal knowledge of telecommunications network fraud, anti-narcotics, drug prevention, and self-protection of primary and secondary school students, cadres and policemen were organized to go deep into Longxian Vocational Middle School, Chongwen Middle School, Mingde Primary School and other schools to carry out a series of rule of law publicity activities. At the same time, special columns for unexamined law popularization classes have been opened on Weibo and WeChat public accounts to popularize the legal knowledge of minors in the Law on the Protection of Minors and the Civil Code, and to enhance the public's legal awareness of protecting minors. Npc deputies and CPPCC members were invited to yanjiawan primary school in Wenshui town to hold a procuratorial open day activity of "inspecting and loving peers and protecting the future together", which achieved good social results. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 10 times have been carried out to send the law to the campus, more than 5,000 teachers and students have participated, and the series of legal education courses launched by the "Buckle the First Button of Life" have been rated as excellent courses for the procuratorial organs of Baoji City.
The third is to actively carry out various special activities. In accordance with the arrangements and deployment of the higher-level courts, actively contact relevant units, conscientiously explore and sort out clues in civil administrative and public interest litigation cases involving minors, and carry out environmental governance activities around the campus. Inspect the county nutritious breakfast distribution center and urge it to strengthen management to ensure that there are no problems with students' nutritious meals. The United County Tobacco Bureau, the County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the County Education and Sports Bureau have carried out special activities of "Guarding Growth and Staying Away from E-cigarettes" in Chongwen Middle School in Longxian County to help minors grow up healthily. At the same time, we will strengthen the contact with the county education bureau and continue to supervise and strengthen the implementation of the "No. 1 Procuratorial Recommendation".
