In addition, he also has many unknown titles: PADI Advanced Water Diver of the International Diving Association, AOPA Drone Pilot of Civil Aviation of China, Ambulance Instructor of the Red Cross Society of China... In his work, he is a small expert in fire supervision and inspection, and an enthusiastic man who receives visiting people. In life, he is a truly all-round volunteer.
In 2016, he joined the Gansu Provincial Red Cross Ark Emergency Rescue Team with ideals. This team has elite soldiers from all walks of life and with various skills, who usually have their own occupations, including company employees, veterans, doctors, and policemen. In their spare time, they gather together because of their enthusiasm for public welfare and humanitarian relief, and do what they can for strangers they never know.
For Fei, in addition to shining in the fire brigade, this collective is also his second home to realize the value of life, and every predecessor of the team has a shining point worth learning. Since then, he has continuously strengthened his own training, worked hard to learn various rescue skills, obtained one certificate after another, and successfully participated in various rescue missions.

Enthusiastically involved in the frontline
After the first outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020, Yu Fei responded to the call of the provincial and municipal Youth League Committees for the first time and joined the Lanzhou Epidemic Prevention Emergency Volunteer Service Team. On February 11, 2020, entrusted by the Qingyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, he escorted and escorted a total of 35 tons of donated epidemic prevention and living materials from Qingyang City to Wuhan, went deep into the core area, and delivered the donated materials to the hands of the people in the epidemic area in a timely manner.
Due to his outstanding performance in the fight against the epidemic, in May 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Communist Youth League Member of Lanzhou City" by the Lanzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.
On October 17, the epidemic made a comeback in Lanzhou, and Yu Fei immediately threw himself into the front line of epidemic prevention after reporting to the unit.
At first, he was mainly responsible for the tent setting up of the bayonet point. In just a few days, 162 tents were set up continuously, from one or two in an hour at the beginning, to one tent in ten minutes later, Yu Fei continued to improve his speed and quickly built a workbench for medical staff. At present, almost all the special tents of the Gansu Provincial Red Cross Society disaster relief at all points in the city are from the hands of Fei and his comrades-in-arms.
In addition to setting up tents, he was also responsible for the epidemic prevention and elimination work in key areas of the city, armed from head to toe, carrying a 70- or 80-kilogram fog machine to and from the chengguan district, Qilihe district, and Anning district of Lanzhou City, where the epidemic was most severe, the major primary and secondary schools, street communities, highway toll stations, and the location recorded a whole notebook.
"As long as the task is out, it will not be finished until dark." After a busy day, the sweat in the protective suit was wet, dry and wet, but he could still show eight neat white teeth and encourage his comrades in the post-90s unique saying, "Ollie gives!" Brothers, that's it! ”
It is understood that Yu Fei's father also joined the volunteer team and was on duty at the bayonet point of the Gansu Academy of Sciences in Tuanjie Xincun Street. During the two epidemic periods, he has participated in the epidemic prevention and killing operations in 2 designated hospitals for the treatment of new crown pneumonia, 3 public parks, 16 meat, poultry and vegetable markets, 25 streets, 77 communities, 108 public service units, 290 old buildings and courtyards, etc., with a cumulative killing area of more than 53,000 square meters.
Unleash the energy of youth
Once upon a time, "self-centeredness, poor self-care ability, and strong sense of rebellion" were the common portraits of the only children of the "post-90s" generation in society. Today, at the critical moment when the party and the people need it, the young "post-90s" and "post-00s" have not hesitated, built an iron wall of anti-epidemic and epidemic prevention with their enthusiastic youth, and proved their growth with practical actions.
Yu Fei, who wears "flame blue", although in the eyes of many people is still a "hairy boy" who has just emerged from society, on the other side of the unknown side, he has already integrated his personal ego into the big self of the country, society and the people, and bravely took over the baton and shouldered the heavy responsibility. He has participated in the rescue of people who fell into the water, the salvage of drowning remains, the rescue mission of the elderly who lost their feet in Wuquan Mountain, and also rushed to the disaster relief area of the flood disaster site in Zhouqu Mountain Flood Mudslide and Guoyuan Town, Dongxiang County, Linxia, and participated in the Lanzhou International Marathon Volunteer Training and Track Support Work for four consecutive years.
Since joining the public welfare rescue team, it has participated in more than 120 rescue and security activities, rescued 3 trapped people, salvaged and searched for 79 bodies of victims, and registered volunteer human organ donation, accumulating more than 2680 hours of volunteer service.
