Ottawa, 26 Oct (Xinhua) -- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau led members of the new government to take the oath of office in the capital Ottawa on 26 October. The new government consists of 39 members, two more than the previous government, of whom nine are new members.
Trudeau said on social media on the same day that the newly formed team will work to end the new crown epidemic, protect public health, combat climate change and create jobs.
In the Elections to the House of Representatives of Canada on September 20, Trudeau's Liberal Party won 159 seats, maintaining its position as the largest party in the House of Representatives, and Trudeau was once again prime minister. (End)
