Peking University and Wisdom Tree Signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement

Peking University's undergraduate education reform has gradually deepened, with Peking University announcing the "Peking University Undergraduate Education Comprehensive Reform Guidance Guidelines", "Peking University 2016 Undergraduate Education Reform Implementation Plan Points (Trial)", proposing that students can freely change majors within the faculty, and students can carry out independent deep learning and other reform measures on the basis of completing the minimum credit requirements required for graduation of each major. Recently, Gao Song, provost and vice president of Peking University, on behalf of the Office of the Provost of Peking University, signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on the Construction and Sharing of High-quality Online Education Resources" with Wisdom Tree Network, which will further help to continue to deepen the comprehensive reform of education and teaching at Peking University.

The agreement indicates that the two sides will jointly develop high-quality curriculum resources, and Peking University will introduce a socialized service mechanism to carry out teaching and talent training, further promote the improvement of Peking University's educational philosophy and teaching reform, and improve students' learning experience. At the same time, through the mature and refined operation services of Wisdom Tree Network, we provide more and better quality courses for more schools and society, and practice the responsibility and mission of Peking University and Wisdom Tree Network to promote educational fairness and social harmonious development.

Peking University and Wisdom Tree Network carry out in-depth and effective cooperation, the content of which includes jointly building a "hybrid teaching mode" curriculum, allowing more famous teachers to teach students, providing group discussion learning space and experience of "flipped course" to benefit more students; jointly promoting the construction of "University Characteristic Curriculum High School Sharing Alliance", Wisdom Tree Network provides market-oriented services, promotes the connection between university education and high school education, and pre-positions high-quality general education courses in universities to stimulate students' understanding of humanities and sciences Wisdom Tree Network will also provide Peking University with a "hybrid curriculum center" cloud platform and services, carry out teacher teaching development activities, build more high-quality courses, and serve the resource sharing of various alliance universities.
