After asking the on-site construction personnel and consulting relevant information, I learned that the asphalt pavement has very strict quality standards for materials and technology.
Before laying the asphalt mixture, the road surface should be cleaned up and the surface aggregate should be exposed as much as possible, which is more conducive to the bonding of asphalt and the base layer.
According to the transport distance and mixing output, equipped with a sufficient number of dump trucks, the capacity must be greater than the output of the mixing machine, the dump truck should have a compact, clean, smooth metal base plate and wall panel, and the bottom plate of the dump truck should also be coated with a thin and suitable anti-adhesive, which can be used washing powder water, waste machine oil water, etc.
Regardless of the distance, regardless of the temperature, the dump truck must be covered with thermal insulation felt cloth after loading the asphalt mixture, and its size must cover the entire carriage to prevent the temperature separation of the mixture.
The number of transport vehicles is determined based on production volumes, road conditions and transport distances.
When starting paving, the number of dump trucks waiting for unloading at the construction site should not be less than 5 to ensure continuous paving.
Asphalt mixture is a mixture formed by thoroughly mixing with an asphalt material with a certain viscosity and appropriate amount of use and a certain grade of mineral aggregate.
Each work surface will determine the number of pavers according to the paving width, generally using two pavers staggered 10 to 20m before and after.
Asphalt pavement refers to the various types of pavement paved with asphalt materials in the mineral material, and the asphalt condensed material improves the ability of paving granules to resist traffic and damage to the road surface by natural factors, making the pavement more flat, less dusty, impermeable and durable. Asphalt mixtures, as asphalt pavement materials, have to withstand the repeated effects of vehicle loads and the long-term influence of environmental factors during use.
Therefore, while the asphalt mixture has a certain bearing capacity, it must also have good durability to resist the action of natural factors. Specifically, it is necessary to have sufficient stability in high temperature environment, crack resistance under low temperature conditions, long-lasting anti-aging and anti-slip resistance that is conducive to safety.
After the asphalt mixture has been paved, the roller should follow up in time to roll the road surface that is still in a high temperature state.
Paving of asphalt mixtures should be avoided during the rainy season, and construction should be suspended when there is stagnant or wet pavement.
Every seam on the pavement should be treated to ensure the smoothness of the paved road.
When the surface temperature of the asphalt mixture is less than 50 degrees, it can be opened to traffic, allowing vehicles to pass, if there is a traffic section that cannot be closed, or a road section that needs to be released early, a water wheel can be used to sprinkle water to cool.
