Dissatisfied with Lebanese Information Minister Kurdashi's remarks about the situation in Yemen before taking office, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced earlier in the day that it recalled the ambassador to Lebanon and asked The Lebanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia to leave the country within 48 hours. Saudi Arabia also announced that it would stop importing goods from Lebanon and would take a series of follow-up measures.
