In fact, raising turtles, since we are the owners, many things are not up to the turtle, we have to make our own decisions. Personally, I think that if it is a breed that can hibernate, it is best to overwinter naturally, not that it is not good for the turtle to warm up. But the natural winter is really convenient, the warmed turtle, although it looks very active at the right temperature, in fact, the heating and breeding still needs experience blessing, otherwise there will be various unexpected risks. I felt as if the survival rate for hibernation seemed to be greater than that of heating.
Unless it is really a sick turtle and still needs treatment, there is no way, it has to be warmed to help recover. Or tropical turtles, such as side-necked turtles, must be warmed.
