The video shows that the incident occurred on a road without a guardrail. The vehicle involved was a large blue van with a black M license plate. The bumper at the head of the truck has been deformed due to the strong collision, the yellow license plate has fallen not far away, and the front of the truck has been pasted with the words "Midnight Rush". Several cows were upside down at and at the bottom of the wagon's wheels, unable to move, and large traces of blood remained on the ground. Another video showed several cows falling on the road, with several clear brake marks on the road, and the road surface was littered with parts of the van that had been knocked down.
Mr. Wang, a local villager, told Jimu News that a similar incident also occurred in this section last year, and another livestock farmer lost more than ten cattle and compensated nearly 200,000 yuan. "The road is a normal two-lane road, that location is downhill plus turning, the driver is not careful and there will be an accident." Mr. Yu said that the truck was a nearby vehicle transporting coal, and the vehicle had now gone to the Huma County Traffic Police Brigade to await investigation and processing.
Subsequently, the Jimu news reporter contacted Li Sheng (pseudonym), the owner of the cattle herd who was hit. Li Sheng said that the accident occurred at more than 11 o'clock in the morning of the 28th, and the driver of the vehicle involved was a Heihe person, more than 40 years old. The accident killed 14 cattle on the spot and seriously injured 13. "Of the 27 cattle, 14 were Japanese Wagyu, 2 were Korean, and the rest were Simmendahl cattle, losing at least a million yuan." Li Sheng told the Jimu News reporter that he has raised more than 400 cattle in total, and the cattle that were hit this time were three or four hundred kilograms, and the large ones were 1,200 kilograms, and the accident handling was still waiting for the identification results of the traffic police department.
On September 29, a reporter from Jimu News called the Huma County Public Security Bureau. The duty officer said that he did not know about the traffic accident and suggested that the reporter contact the traffic police brigade. Subsequently, the reporter called the traffic police brigade of the Huma County Public Security Bureau, and the phone was not answered.
