The First Congress was successfully convened
On the afternoon of October 29, the first congress of the second session of the Zhijiang West Road Street Trade Union was held in the street neighborhood center. Xu Jun, secretary of the party leading group and vice chairman of the Jing'an District Federation of Trade Unions, Jiang Fanyong, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhijiang West Road Subdistrict, members of the street party working committee and office team, responsible persons of trade unions of municipal and district-affiliated units in the street area, members of the first committee of the Street Federation of Trade Unions, cadres of some grass-roots trade unions, advanced collectives and advanced individuals, and about 100 representatives were invited to attend the meeting.

Preparatory meetings
At the preparatory meeting, all the delegates heard and deliberated and adopted the report on the preparatory work of the Congress, the voting method of the Congress, the agenda of the Congress, the list of the Bureau and the Secretary-General of the Congress, and the list of the Deputies Qualification Review Panel.

First meeting of the Bureau
At the first meeting of the presidium, it deliberated and adopted the agenda of the congress, submitted to the deputies for discussion the election method of the congress, and submitted the list of candidates for the second session of the Zhijiang West Road Street Federation of Trade Unions in Jing'an District for deliberation, and the list of candidates for the examination of the qualifications of the deputies.

First plenary meeting
At 2:00 p.m., the first congress of the second session of the Zhijiang West Road Street Trade Union opened with the solemn sound of the national anthem.
Chen Chen, deputy director of the Zhijiang West Road Subdistrict Office, delivered an opening speech.
Yan Qinglan, chairman of the Zhijiang West Road Street Women's Federation, delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the street mass organizations.
All the deputies listened attentively to and deliberated the work report of the first committee of the Zhijiang Road Street Federation of Trade Unions, entitled "Rallying the Masses of Workers and Workers to Make Contributions to Regional Economic and Social Development," made by Li Bin, deputy secretary of the neighborhood party working committee and chairman of the federation of trade unions.
In the past five years, under the correct leadership of the street party working committee and the care and guidance of the district federation of trade unions, the street federation of trade unions has taken the goal of jointly building a beautiful community of co-governance and sharing, giving full play to the advantages of the trade union itself, and through consolidating the foundation, improving the mechanism, taking multiple measures at the same time, and vigorously grasping the implementation, it has created a good atmosphere of joint construction, consultation and cooperation, benefit co-creation, and achievement sharing of the mechanism of employees, enterprises and communities, and promoted the harmony and stability of labor relations in the jurisdiction, which is mainly reflected in:
Guided by the inheritance of red genes and glorious traditions, it stimulates the enthusiasm of the majority of employees to make contributions;
To build a "four-in-one" trade union rights protection system as the main responsibility, and promote harmonious and stable regional labor relations;
Take the effective performance of trade union service functions as the main business, and promote employees to share the fruits of reform and development;
Take the opportunity of deepening the reform of trade unions in non-public enterprises to effectively strengthen the construction of trade union organizations themselves.
The main tasks for the next five years are:
Strengthen the guidance of thought and action, unite and unite the magnificent strength of the masses of workers to forge ahead in the "14th Five-Year Plan";
Improve the mechanism of democratic consultation, and give full play to the advantages of trade unions in participating in social governance;
Highlight the main position of employees, and continuously enhance the sense of gain and belonging of the masses of employees;
Improve the trade union organization system, and strive to open up the "last kilometer" of serving the masses of workers.
The delegates deliberated in writing the "Financial Work Report of the First Committee of the Zhijiang West Road Street Federation of Trade Unions in Jing'an District" and the "Work Report of the First Funding Review Committee of the Zhijiang West Road Street Federation of Trade Unions in Jing'an District".
Xu Jun, secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the Jing'an District Federation of Trade Unions, congratulated the smooth convening of the second session of the first congress of the Zhijiang West Road Street Trade Union, pointing out that in the past five years, the grass-roots trade union organization construction of the Zhijiang West Road Street Federation of Trade Unions has been solidly and effectively promoted, good results have been achieved in promoting the harmonious development of the region, and the ability to serve the staff and workers has been continuously innovated and improved. Vice Chairman Xu Jun put forward three requirements for the new trade union team:
First, it is hoped that the new trade union team will keep firmly in mind its original mission and fully stimulate the spirit of ownership of the broad masses of workers;
Second, it is hoped that the new trade union team will improve its political position and profoundly grasp the importance of the construction of the trade union organization system in the new situation;
Third, it is hoped that the new trade union team will optimize its service and improve its work style and create a new atmosphere for the work of the street and town federations of trade unions.

Closing ceremony
After the on-site vote counting, the meeting elected the members, chairmen, vice chairmen and members and directors of the funding review committee of the street federation of trade unions. The list of directors and members of the Second Female Workers Committee of the Zhijiang West Road Street Federation of Trade Unions in Jing'an District was deliberated and approved.

On behalf of the street party working committee, Jiang Fanyong, secretary of the street party working committee, expressed warm congratulations to the successful convening of the congress and the newly elected members of the two committees of the new street federation of trade unions, and put forward requirements for the next stage of street trade union work:
First, we must give prominence to political guidance and firmly grasp the correct direction of trade union work;
Second, we must focus on consolidating the foundation and give full play to the cohesive role of trade union organizations;
Third, we must adhere to the overall situation and lead the majority of employees to make contributions to the high-quality development of Zhijiangxi;
Fourth, we must adhere to the service-oriented, and effectively improve the happiness and sense of gain of the majority of employees.
At 5:30 p.m., the first congress of the second session of the Zhijiang West Road Street Trade Union ended successfully with the sound of the "Internationale".
The meeting called on trade union organizations and deputies at all levels in the streets to conscientiously organize the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of this congress, and make greater contributions to the great changes in Shanghai and the great development of Jing'an and Zhijiangxi with more political enthusiasm!
