My name is Zhou Ying, and I am an ordinary cadre of Chuanqing Drilling Company. In May 2018, I went to Shiqu County to take up a post as the deputy director of the Education and Sports Bureau, and at the same time served as the contact person of Bayoer Village in Ziyi Township, the counterpart poverty alleviation village in Chuanqing, and in July, I also served as a village cadre in Adi Village, Niya Town.

Shiqu County is located in the northwest of Sichuan Province, in the combination of Sichuan, Qingdao and Tibet provinces and regions, with an average altitude of 4200 meters, and the oxygen content accounts for only 46% of the plain, which is known as the "forbidden area of life".

Before arriving at the stone canal, I already had a certain understanding of the local plateau climate, and colleagues from the Education and Sports Bureau told me that the stone canal only has two seasons, one is winter, and one is about winter, but when I personally experienced severe cold, lack of oxygen, extreme weather, and altitude sickness, I found that this is the normal state of working in the so-called cloud stone canal.

In the one year that I was in charge of the Office of the Education and Sports Bureau, Tibet Aid and External Propaganda, I first completed my work, such as: representing the Shiqu County Education and Sports Bureau to Carry out the cross-examination work of the Middle School Entrance Examination in Xinlong County; and inspecting and accepting the basic equipment of more than 30 schools in the county; assisting the County Education and Sports Bureau to contact public welfare institutions in the coastal area to donate to the county primary and secondary schools, and also helping to contact Chengdu social benevolent people to donate the tuition fees of poor college students in the county; and then completing the tasks assigned by the Chuanqing Drilling Company. For example, the acceptance company donated to the computer room of the county primary and secondary school, and verified the company's scholarship to poor students in the county; and finally used his computer expertise to teach the school staff in his spare time.

Although working in the plateau is very tiring, whenever the Tibetan children in the school see you smiling and bowing to you, they will feel that it is worth it to be tired. Poverty alleviation is the first to help the intellectual, starting from a young age to learn cultural knowledge is quite important for Tibetan areas, and more and more young people can get out of the plateau through study, and return to work after completing their studies.

It has been more than two years since I was stationed in Adi Village, Niya Town, and I have only experienced that poverty alleviation is a practical task when working in the most basic villages. Here, the most I do every month is to go to the village and enter the household, grasp the basic information of the poor households, the income and expenditure of the poor households, understand the actual difficulties of the poor households, and think of countermeasures for the difficulties. According to the actual situation, poor households are trained in technology, labor services are exported, and the income of poor households is increased. Shiqu County has a high altitude, can not grow crops, the whole county grazes livestock, the income is unstable, we will develop the collective economy in the village, formulate a rational plan for the village collective economic cooperative, invest in some good development projects in the town and the county, and strive to give dividends to poor households every year in the village collective economy. Once a week, night schools or party classes for herders are held, and leaders who are encouraged to get rich are encouraged to give lectures and demonstrations, so as to promote the enthusiasm of herders for entrepreneurship, and sometimes to give herders some popular science knowledge, health knowledge, animal husbandry technology, etc., to enrich the study and life of herders.

Although the conditions for accurate poverty alleviation in the village are difficult, the altitude is high, far away from the family, far away from work, lonely, lonely and the monotony of life, it is this working environment that will be a heavy accumulation and a valuable resource in my life. And being able to work with other support team members has enriched my knowledge, allowed me to stick to my faith during my work in the village, and encouraged me to love and dedicate myself to my work in the future.
