1, car chips will be gradually domesticated

Recently, the problem of lack of cores in car companies has continued to appear, and Zhu Jiangming has also expressed his views. He believes that chips are very basic components in the automotive field, and there are enough capabilities in chip design in China, but the current shortcomings are mainly in terms of manufacturing capabilities.

The investor of zero-run automobile is Dahua shares, Which has set up its own chip research and development department in 2003, and now 30% to 40% of the chips within Dahua are designed by themselves, and the chip research and development team of zero-running and Dahua are a wave of people.

In 2020, zero-run cars launched their own self-driving chip, which will be the first to appear on the mid-size SUV C11, with very comprehensive performance, which can support L2.5 and L3 level autonomous driving.

Zhu Jiangming believes that at present, many chips have achieved localization, and the chips at the top of the pyramid are still mainly overseas. But a car needs a lot of chips, so some chips that are not the core can be completely replaced by localization.

Zhu Jiangming believes that in the future, on-board chips will be localized from easy to difficult.

2, zero run in 2020 has achieved certain results, next year will be better

2020 is a year of sharp increase in sales of new energy vehicles, and many car companies have caught up with this wave of growth, and zero-run cars are also one of them. According to Zhu Jiangming, in the three months of July, August and September 2020, the sales of zero-run cars can achieve more than 50% growth every month.

And all the cars of zero-running cars are sold directly to consumers, in this year, zero-running cars have not done a lot of brand promotion, and sales are bought by word of mouth.

During new Year's Day this year, the third car C11 of ZeroCar officially opened for pre-sale, and the number of reservations has exceeded 1700 people. Zhu Jiangming said that the appointment price of C11 is 20,000 yuan, and under such a high reservation price, there can be 1700 predetermined vehicles, and the performance is relatively satisfactory.

Although zero-run cars are still in the second echelon, Zhu Jiangming believes that things are constantly changing, and zero-run cars are confident of achieving better results in 2021.

3, zero run to achieve a leading position in the small car market

Zero-run cars have come up with three models, the first is a coupe, the second is a small car T03, and the third is the newly launched mid-size SUV C11. This also shows the product strategy of zero-run cars, that is, low-end and high-end synchronous force.

Zhu Jiangming introduced that the original intention of zero running into the automotive field was to make the car into a means of transportation, mainly aiming at the small car market, but then the country has not produced a standard, it has stagnated, and turned to passenger cars.

Now small cars are gradually beginning to gain a foothold in the market, but in this market, there are still some differences between the zero-run T03 and other models. The NEDC mileage of the zero-run T03 is more than 400 kilometers, and there are functions such as automatic parking and ACC adaptive cruise, which are more intelligent, so the competitor of the zero-run T03 is not the Hongguang MINI EV, but the Euler series.

Zhu Jiangming said that the 2021 T03 will continue to upgrade the configuration of the vehicle and take the lead in the small car market.

But at the same time, zero run will not give up the high-end market, zero run C11 only out of a configuration, the intelligent configuration of the vehicle is the same, the difference between the vehicle is only endurance and power output, and some optional package configuration is exactly the same.

Zhu Jiangming said that the zero-run C11 is the half-price Tesla Model Y, which is in line with the Tesla Model Y in terms of configuration, and in some ways is more luxurious than the Model Y, creating a luxury car bought by ordinary people
