Strange thieves in various countries? Persona prototype for Persona

In September, Atlus gave us a first glimpse of the main characters of the "Strangers of hearts" in Persona 5 and their Persona, and now the official website has updated the profiles of The Personas. Please poke here for previous information.

The protagonist's early Persona. Wearing a mask and carrying a huge black wing, he is full of mystery.

It is based on Arthur Robin, the famous thief Lupin. is a rogue created by the French writer Maurice Lubbon. He was intelligent, thoughtful, mercurial, and wealthy, and often stole the property of the illegal rich to help the poor, so the poor people gave him the titles of "rogue thief", "strange thief", "strange thief gentleman", and he also won the admiration of countless pure love women at that time.

It is based on William Kidd, born in 1645. During the Anglo-French War around 1690, he successfully maintained the trade lanes between the United States and Britain. He was hanged in 1701 on charges of piracy, and ironically Kidd did not admit to being a pirate until his death.

Under the cover of working in textile factories, fortune telling and selling art, she acted as an eye and ear for the secret robber syndicate, ignoring the regulations of the authorities and taking pleasure in breaking them. She sometimes annoyed foreign officers at the port docks; sometimes smuggled bootlegs in jungle canyons. She ignored chastity and morality, used hue as a weapon for profit, freely entered and exited the mansions of the magnates, walked the rivers and lakes, and caused the rich tycoons to lose their wealth and die in her thousands of customs.

The prototype is Zorro. It first appeared in 1919 by American writer Johnston McCooley's serialized popular magazine story The Curse of Capestrano. The protagonist, Diego, is a rogue Robin Hood-style mortal hero, who is originally the son of a landlord, but is willing to do chivalry, eliminate violence, and rob the rich and help the poor. As a result, he incarnated as Zorro and conducted covert operations, including a black mask, a black hat, a black cloak, a black mount, a sword, and a long whip. "Zorro" means "fox" in Spanish, and whenever this black desert fox is haunted, he always uses his sword to mark the "Z".

The prototype is Ishikawa Goemon, a Japanese yoshi thief during the Sengoku period. Dressed as a businessman during the day, he went around spying on the homes of wealthy families and "robbing" them at night. He was arrested for stealing a valuable tea vessel from Toyotomi Hideyoshi while stealing a valuable tea vessel, the Chidori Incense Burner, and was executed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi for boiling it. After Ishikawa Goemon's death, he received sympathy and praise from the general public, and a large number of literary and artistic works praising him appeared, such as plays, scripts, novels, singing, and kabuki. There are also film works in modern times.
