At 9:50 a.m. on September 16, 1994, the China '94 International Chemical Industry Exhibition opened at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, Vice Minister He Guoqiang delivered an opening speech, and Wang Bingqian, Tian Jiyun, Gu Mu (Vice Chairman of the Seventh National People's Congress), relevant envoys in China, and Minister Gu Xiulian of the Ministry of Chemical Industry cut the ribbon for the exhibition (Photo 1).

At 5:30 p.m., Jiang Baodong, the driver of the Beijing Office, sent General Manager Li Wenzhao and me to the Beijing Hotel to attend the reception of the 94 International Chemical Industry Exhibition, ending at 9 o'clock and returning to the Jimen Hotel at 10 o'clock.
At 2:00 p.m. on the 17th, the "Zhejiang Chemical Technology and Economic Information Conference" was held in the lecture hall of the service center of China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, gu Xiulian, minister of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and Lin Yincai, director of the Department of Chemical Industry, attended, Chen Haiqing, director of the Department of Petrochemical of Zhejiang Province, introduced the information of chemical production and operation in Zhejiang Province, the director of the Ningbo Chemical Industry Bureau introduced the chemical production and operation information of Ningbo City, and the general manager of our company Li Wenzhao introduced the production, economic development and investment environment and foreign economic cooperation projects of Juhua Group Company.
During the exhibition, Minister Gu Xiulian (photo 2) and Vice Minister Li Zibin (photo 3) both visited our company's booth successively, and Li Wenzhao, general manager of the company, introduced the company's production, technology and development.

At 9:00 a.m. on the 19th, Mr. Gong and I attended the ICI technical information conference, and the company's experts introduced KLEA 134A and Emkarate (trimethylolpropane trioleate) refrigeration oil and other technologies.
In the morning and afternoon of the 20th, I also took the time to listen to the academic reports of "APMS Software - Advanced Plant Management System for Ethylene Production" and "Project Controls Presentation" of Kellogg Company to understand the technology and application of the most advanced process control management system.
At 2:30 p.m. on the 20th, General Manager Li Wenzhao, Deputy Chief Engineer Gong Zeqiu, Deputy Director Chen Ming and I were invited to attend the opening ceremony of "China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corporation" held in the lecture hall of the Service Building of the International Exhibition Center. In order to realize the deepening reform of the chemical industry and the strategic deployment of adapting to the socialist market economic system, the former Ministry of Chemical Industry decided to establish China Haohua Chemical (Group) Corporation with the "five major companies" directly under the Ministry of Chemical Industry, china National Chemical Construction Corporation, China National Chemical Supply and Marketing Corporation, China Chemical Engineering Corporation, China National Chemical Equipment Corporation, China National Chemical New Materials Corporation and Nanjing Chemical Factory as the main body, and fully implement the "large company, large group" strategy in the chemical industry. It was officially approved by the State Council on December 31, 1992, obtained a business license in February 1993, and was officially put into operation in September 1994.
At 3:40 p.m. on September 20, Vice Chairman Chen Muhua, accompanied by Vice Minister Li Zibin, visited the booth of Laijuhua Group Company.
On September 21st, the last day of the exhibition, at 3:30 p.m., the participants of the exhibition summary meeting took a bus to the Asian Games Village International Conference Center in front of Hall 1. At 4:35, the 94 International Chemical Industry Exhibition Summary award ceremony began, and Minister Gu Xiulian and Vice Minister He Guoqiang attended the conference, and Zhang Depei, deputy director of the organizing committee, made a summary report. The exhibition showed the overall face of China's chemical industry, with colorful activities, product displays, trade negotiations, 43 technical exchanges, 8 technical information conferences and 4 cooperation signing ceremonies. There are 30 provinces and cities and 4 cities with separate plans in the country, and the 9 major chemical enterprises in the country have organized delegations to participate in the exhibition, 1850 state-owned enterprises and 193 overseas companies have participated in the exhibition. Director Lin Yincai announced the list of award-winning units, and our company won 3 awards for excellent trade, excellent design and decoration and excellent organization. I took the stage on behalf of the company to receive the award, and Vice Minister He Guoqiang presented the award to our company (photo 4). Finally, Minister Gu Xiulian made a speech and announced goodbye to the 1996 exhibition.

From Quhua to Beijing on September 9, the task of the exhibition was successfully completed on the 22nd, and the days during the exhibition were tense and busy, from the organization and coordination, the disassembly of the exhibition board, the distribution of materials, the accommodation and transportation arrangements of the pavilion personnel, the daily liaison meeting and the upload and release of information, there can be no sloppiness and sloppiness, with the support of the company leaders, the trust and letting go of Director Gong Zeqiu, in close cooperation with colleagues, the exhibition was completed satisfactorily.
With the experience and foundation of this exhibition, I was responsible for the "Second National Industrial Enterprise Technological Progress Achievement Exhibition" held at the Beijing Exhibition Center from April 26 to May 3, 1995 and the "96 Beijing International Chemical Industry Exhibition" held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing on September 23, 1996, and successfully completed the task.
