On the afternoon of October 28, the third member representative meeting of Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held. Present at the opening meeting were Huang Guoping, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal CPC Committee and secretary of the party leading group of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce; Gao Yun, secretary of the Huangpu District CPC Committee; Zhao Yong, member of the Standing Committee of the District CPC Committee and deputy head of the district; Wu Lijian, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress; Huang Wei, vice chairman of the District CPPCC Committee; and Shi Dengding, member of the party leading group and vice chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce.
At the meeting, Gao Yun and Huang Guoping spoke separately. The NLD District Committee delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the democratic parties in the district. The meeting deliberated and adopted the work report of the second executive committee of the Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), and read out the "Letter of Tribute to The Departing Leaders and The Departing Executive Standing Committee".
In his speech, Gao Yun pointed out that in the past five years, the Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) has closely focused on the overall situation of the economic and social development of Huangpu District, given full play to the role of bridges and assistants, and done a great deal of work in promoting the healthy development of the non-public economy and the healthy growth of people in the non-public economy, and uniting and leading the majority of members to actively participate in economic and social construction, and has achieved remarkable results. It is hoped that the new District Federation of Industry and Commerce will deepen its study and practice, firmly adhere to the correct political direction without wavering; deepen service guidance, promote the development and upgrading of enterprises without slacking off; deepen reform and innovation, strengthen the construction of its own team without relaxing, continue to focus on the center, serve the overall situation, and make new and greater contributions to Huangpu's acceleration of the construction of a socialist modern international metropolis core leading area with world influence.
In his speech, Huang Guoping fully affirmed the work of the Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) in the past five years. He stressed that the new leadership of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce shoulders the heavy burden of leading private enterprises to contribute to the realization of the development goals of huangpu in the "14th Five-Year Plan", and carries the heavy responsibility of continuing to write a new chapter in the cause of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, with a glorious mission and arduous tasks. It is necessary to pay more attention to ideological and political guidance, strengthen the study of political theory, deepen education in ideals and beliefs, and accelerate the cultivation of the younger generation of private entrepreneurs. The conference elected the third executive committee of the Huangpu District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), Huang Zhen was elected as the chairman (president) of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), and Chen Wei was elected as the executive vice chairman (executive vice president).
