75 years ago, a prosperous leader of a peasant uprising chanted "Long live the Chinese Communist Party!" "Heroism is righteousness. He was Han Yonglu, commander-in-chief of the Twenty-second Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and leader of the Wuligang rebellion in Wanxian County.
Han Yonglu, also known as Han Yu, formerly known as Liu Shigui, was born in 1905 in xiwuligang village of Wanxian County (present-day Shunping County) in Hebei Province. In 1922, he entered Baoding Yude Middle School and began to accept revolutionary ideas. In 1924, he formed the Progressive Group Alumni Association and joined the Communist Party of China in the same year. In March 1926, he was selected to study at the Sixth Peasant Movement Seminar sponsored by Mao Zedong. After returning to the county, he actively developed party members and established the party's grass-roots organizations. In 1927, he established the County Committee of the Communist Party of China and served as its secretary.
In June 1930, in accordance with the instructions of the Shunzhi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Special Committee for the Protection of Subordinates, the Wuligang Peasants' Riot Committee was established, with Han Yonglu as the commander-in-chief, and the matter was scheduled to be held on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. Later, due to unexpected events, the riot was held ahead of schedule. Han Yonglu led the rebellious peasants to capture the landlords of Wuligang, open warehouses to help the people, capture weapons, and arm the people. Farmers in Mancheng, Qingyuan, Wangdu and other counties responded positively and participated one after another, and the riot team reached more than 500 people. On August 17, the Peasants' Rebellion Headquarters was formed, and the Twenty-second Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army was established, with Han Yonglu as the commander and commander-in-chief, and he led the troops to attack the county seats, but because the enemy was outnumbered and the city was strong, it failed to succeed. In order to preserve the revolutionary forces, the riot command moved to the Laiyuan Mountains to continue fighting. On the way, they encountered a sudden siege of Baoding to help the enemy, and the team suffered serious casualties. Han Yonglu temporarily reduced his troops to pieces and dispersed them for cover.
After Han Yonglu left the county, he was sent to the central county party committee of Bo (Ye) Li (County) to participate in organizing and leading the Bo Li peasant rebellion. After the riot was aborted, he was instructed by the Shunzhi Provincial Committee of the CPC to lead the peasant revolt in JinXian County.
On January 26, 1931, Han Yonglu was arrested by the Kuomintang reactionaries when he planned an armed peasant uprising in Dongguan, Jin County, for informing traitors. In prison, he is unyielding and brave against his enemies. He encouraged the comrades in prison: "The bones of Communists cannot be broken, and countless revolutionary martyrs have set a brilliant example for us. He also led the establishment of a special section of the party in prison to carry out the hunger strike. On September 28, Han Yonglu was killed at Beiping Tianqiao.
Shi Lin, a friend who was imprisoned together with Han Yonglu in Beiping, wrote a poem to remember Han Yonglu: "Remembering the Yonglu Legislative Tribunal, the cross-brow cold poisoning of the enemy; the lofty party spirit is super magic, and the will of the defense party is forged in steel; the torture in prison is even more convinced that communism will succeed; when the martyrs are generous and righteous, the international song runs through Changhong." ”
