Beiyang Sanjie origin
In 1859, Feng Guozhang was born in Xishijing Village, Hejian County, Hebei Province. The family was originally a large household, and his grandfather Feng Pizhen's family was wealthy, with more than 300 acres of farmland alone, which was one of the four largest households in the village. However, after keeping up with his father Feng Chuntang, he fell off the list, became insane, and because of natural disasters, the Feng family lost its former glory. Feng Guozhang could not continue his studies and dropped out of school because of his family's fall.
After dropping out of school, Feng Guozhang decided to join the army. After joining the army, Feng Guozhang knew the noble man in his life--- Nie Shicheng, who was very powerful, participated in the Suppression of Twisting, the Sino-French War, the Sino-Japanese War, and the Gengzi Revolution, and had outstanding military achievements and great status. Nie Shicheng did two things for Feng Guozhang here, and these two things laid the foundation for his future glory. One is that Feng Guozhang was sent to Japan by Nie Shicheng to investigate Japan's military situation, and Feng Guozhang in Japan not only befriended a number of Japanese military figures, but also came into contact with many modern military works in Japan, and sorted out and copied several major related books and brought them back. The second was that Nie Shicheng recommended him to Yuan Shikai.

At that time, Yuan Shikai was just preparing for the small station to train troops, and his subordinates not only lacked soldiers, but also lacked military talents who could train troops; Feng Guozhang, who had just returned from studying in Japan, was recommended to Yuan Shikai by Nie Shicheng, and Yuan Shikai was extremely pleased to see the military materials compiled by Feng Guozhang, so he asked Feng Guozhang to enter the small station to assist in the training of the new army. Feng Guozhang practiced while studying, and was very kind, and was very supported and loved by the student soldiers in the barracks, and soon he was promoted to deputy of the camp affairs office and supervisor of the infantry school.
Later, the German governor saw that the new army trained by Yuan Shikai was a hundred times better than the old warlords who were lazy, and praised Wang Shizhen, Duan Qirui, and Feng Guozhang, who were in charge of the exercises at that time, as "Three Masters of Beiyang". After the Interpretation, the Beiyang soldiers believe that the three are dragons and tiger dogs.
Why is Feng Guozhang a "dog"?
Mainly because Feng Guozhang was particularly loyal to people at that time, and his command of fighting was particularly strong, but unfortunately he was not very enlightened in politics. Once, Yuan Shikai asked Feng Guozhang to suppress the revolutionary army, and when Feng Guozhang arrived in Wuhan, he took two towns in one go, and seeing that the third town was about to be taken, Feng Guozhang said confidently: "In this way, maybe we can still wear a yellow coat and make a hereditary replacement." Just when he was proud, Yuan Shikai got him back with a letter of transfer. Originally, what Yuan Shikai had said to Feng Guozhang before was: "Go slowly, wait and see", but Feng Guozhang was so fierce that he went up and attacked two towns, and Yuan Shikai's plan to force the palace to abdicate was interfered with, and the angry Yuan Shikai called him back. He had poor comprehension ability, but he was particularly loyal and could fight, so the name "dog" spread among the Beiyang government.
There is also a folk saying that goes like this: Once, Cixi inspected the army, when the soldier heard that the empress dowager Lafayette had come, rushed to watch, made a mess, Feng Guozhang's voice was all upright, the soldier immediately became honest, and began to practice normally, Cixi looked at Feng Guozhang and said to the people around him: This person has a long waist, long legs, short voice, and is like a pug dog I raised. Since then, the name of Feng Dog has not gone away.

Feng Guozhang was Feng Gong's great-grandfather
Feng Guozhang was a heavy minister of the late Qing Dynasty, the leader of the warlords directly under the Beiyang clan in modern China, and later the vice president of the Republic of China, acting as the president. Moreover, because of his political stance, he broke away from the Beiyang government, engaged in industry and commerce, opened a bank, paint factory, electric light factory, yarn factory, etc., the most famous of which is the Baoding Electric Light Co., Ltd., which he jointly founded, which was listed by the Kuomintang Construction Committee as one of the 47 first- and second-class power plants operated by China itself.
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Feng Jiayu repeatedly refused to be co-opted by the Japanese, and the factory he opened accumulated a considerable amount of wealth at that time, which was also the reason why the Japanese co-opted him, until his death, he insisted on saving the country through industry, and confiscated all his property before his death. The old man had 6 sons and 7 daughters in his lifetime, and Feng Gong's father, Feng Haigang, was the third son of Feng Jiayu, and Feng Gong was also the grandson of Mr. Feng Jiayu.
In 1910, Feng Guozhang revised the "Feng Family Tree" and decided to take "the national sea is forbidden to open, and the eastern events are up" as the order of the future generations. The word "Guo" was first known to him, and Feng Guozhang gave birth to five sons, who were Feng Jiasui, Feng Jiadi, Feng Jiayu, Feng Jiamai, and Feng Jiazhou. Waiting for the grandchildren, the word "sea" is lined up, Feng Haidai, Feng Haisheng, Feng Haiyan, Feng Haigang, Feng Haidao, etc. When it came to Feng Gong's generation, the word "forbidden" should have been listed, but because of the social environment at that time, in the end, it could only violate the ancestral precepts and did not use the word "forbidden" to rank the generations. The descendants of Feng Gong's generation have not been ranked in generations, but when they reach Feng Gong's son, they use the word "kai" as a generation, and Feng Gong's son is called "Feng Kaicheng".
