Born in 1987, Li Dongchen, a Ph.D. in 2014 from the School of Information Sciences of Peking University, has recently taken up his new post.

According to the new Handan client reported on April 30, recently, the Handan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China decided that Comrade Li Dongchen was appointed as a member, standing committee member and deputy secretary of the Yongnian District Committee of handan City.

According to the official resume, Li Dongchen, born in June 1987, Chaoyang, Liaoning, a 2014 doctoral graduate of the Intelligent Science and Technology Major of the School of Information Science and Technology of Peking University, served as the chief clerk of the Tangshan Municipal Government Office from August 2014 to October 2016 (during which he exercised in Guoyuan Township, Lubei District); from October 2016 to April 2021, he successively served as the chief clerk and fourth-level researcher of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hebei Province; and in April 2021, he served as the deputy secretary of the Yongnian District Committee of Handan City of the Communist Party of China.

According to public information, in 2014, Hebei Province launched the targeted selection and transfer work, and Li Dongchen was admitted as the first batch of targeted Peking University selection and transfer students in the province in August of that year.

In Li Dongchen's 2018 article "This Peace of Mind is My Hometown", he recalled, "After our 34 selected transfer students were assigned to city and county posts, on the basis of intensive training, we were uniformly arranged to go to townships and towns for more than two years to exercise and hang up for more than two years. In one work after another, we have also gradually won the trust of leaders and colleagues at all levels with practical actions, and have been arranged for key tasks such as the change of the village 'two committees', petitioning and maintaining stability, land requisition and demolition, and have been assigned to bao villages, which not only allows us to see the sufferings of the people, temper our mentality, understand the organizational forms and operation methods of the grass-roots level, but also change our perspective, reshape the way of thinking, and have a deeper understanding of the considerations of some policy formulation, laying a solid foundation for our future career in public service. ”

After two years of training at the grass-roots level, the organization department of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee inspected and judged these selected and transferred students one by one, and adjusted them to the provincial or municipal departments according to each person's professional strengths and personality traits, combined with their personal wishes.

As a doctor in artificial intelligence and data mining, Li Dongchen was transferred to the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission.
