The mountaineer Yang Guang, played by Hu Ge in "The Climber", is named Xia Boyu, the first Chinese person to climb Mount Everest by prosthesis.

Now by Teacher Xia Boyu's autobiography "Endless Climbing: Footless Mountaineer Xia Boyu's Mountaineering Dream" adaptation and filming record film announced that hu ge "continues the frontier", for the film to voice the narration.
The film tells the life story of teacher Xia Boyu who climbed Mount Everest, from being selected for the national team, frostbite amputation, suffering from cancer, breaking the sand and regretting Mount Everest, to clinging to the ideal and relying on prosthetic limbs to reach the summit of Mount Everest. His life has a life and death, and his life experience is legendary.
Many people say that since Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world, with complex terrain and harsh environment, which may bring danger to climbers at any time, why are so many people climbing? For those who climb Everest now, it may be more adventurous, want to conquer Mount Everest, and regard the summit as a kind of faith.
In the past, it didn't stop there. In 1960, the attribution of Mount Everest came into focus because we had never reached the summit, so we were questioned. To add an advantage to border negotiations, Chinese must climb to the top. On May 25, 1960, the Chinese mountaineering team completed the first ascent of the north slope and planted the national flag. Unfortunately, no video records were left, which once again attracted the doubts of some Western countries. If there is doubt, then come again. On May 27, 1975, China made a second summit and made accurate measurements of Mount Everest, and the altitude of Mount Everest was 8848.13 meters.
Behind the summit is our generation after generation of Chinese never give up, tenacious and unyielding, constantly breaking through and making progress in failure after failure. Our own mountain, our own ascent, for the whole world to see.
Hu Ge once commented on the autobiography of teacher Xia Boyu: I played you when I was young in the movie "The Climber", which was a very valuable experience for me. I believe that the vast young audience, like me, through this film, we have seen what kind of people can be called real idols, role models and heroes in real life. We have learned the spirit of climbing from you, and we have also seen the significance of the older generation of mountaineers climbing Everest.
For me personally, you have worked hard all your life to tell me how far away Mount Everest is from us humans; you have made me realize with your lifelong persistence that to overcome this distance, we need not only physical strength, equipment and technology, but also a never-say-die spirit, and even a lifetime of dedication.
I want to learn from you, I hope that I can become a person like you, adhere to the ideal, keep the original intention.
I hope all of our sons and daughters of China can come and see this documentary movie called "Endless Climbing". Let all children understand that 8848 is not a simple number in the textbook, it carries the painstaking efforts of countless predecessors. They should be our idols!
