Elizabeth Murrayma said that China has always been a strong supporter and contributor to the global biodiversity agenda, one of the first countries to accede to the Convention on Biological Diversity, and one of the largest donors to the core budget of the Convention and the Protocol.
China's offer to host the conference, as well as the Kunming Declaration to be issued at the conference, are a clear demonstration of China's leadership and commitment to biodiversity conservation. Puer black There is no biological paradise with caves
Puzuhei in Qiubei County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, is located in the core area of the Karst Landform of Yunnan Qiangui. "Puzhu Black" is a Yi word meaning pond with abundant fish and shrimp. There are caves, lakes, plateaus, karst wetlands. The most peculiar thing is that the most precious surface water in the karst landform area has been retained, forming a very rare large area of dissolved lake water. The unique karst landform and hydrological environment have also bred the rich biodiversity and uniqueness of Puzuhei.
Here is Qiubei County's Puzuhei, 312 lone peaks dotted with dots, 83 caves in a variety of shapes, 54 lakes connected to each other, and 40,000 acres of plateau karst wetlands and Shishan peak forests are integrated, forming a unique karst lake wetland ecosystem. There are more than 20,000 acres of water surface in Puzuhei, and there are tens of thousands of acres of wild lotus flowers alone. In August this year, a wild two-colored and tilian plant attracted a lot of attention. Two flowers bloom on one stalk, and they are very different colors, which is very amazing. Experts say that this "same stem different color" of the two-color and Tilian flowers are treasured.
In recent years, Puzuhei has established a provincial nature reserve, built a pilot project of Puzhehei Karst National Wetland Park, carried out wetland restoration work for the living environment of wetland animals and plants, and provided suitable habitats for waterfowl and birds with good water body systems and ecological functions.

Bi Lin, monitor of the Management and Conservation Bureau of Puzuhei Provincial Nature Reserve in Qiubei County: This wetland is very large and resourceful, and we can often monitor large game birds, egrets and pincer-billed storks. Small gamebirds include the small squid and the black water chicken. There are two species of national first-class protection (birds), one is the golden eagle, and the eastern white stork. There are more than 20 kinds of second-class crows, including black-winged crows and black-winged kites.
Yang Hongfu, senior agronomist of Qiubei County Fishery Workstation: There are Qiubei blind plateau loach and Qiubei golden line bream, which are both national second-level protected animals. As a result of living in the dark for a long time, their eyes have degenerated, and the pigment on the surface of the body has gradually degenerated, and through the transparent body, their bones and internal organs can be clearly seen.
In order to protect the living environment of these cave fish, the local fishing station has carried out artificial breeding and stocking of these fish, and gradually established a national very small population protected species. Today, the population of these endemic fish species has increased from 4 previous species to 12 species.
The effective protection and restoration of wetland ecosystems also breeds biodiversity and uniqueness. According to statistics, the number of birds has reached 209 species; the distribution of fish has reached 89 species; and the number of vascular plants has reached 823 species, making it a well-deserved biological paradise.
