Huilai County is the largest abalone producing area in Guangdong, the famous production area of high-quality abalone in the country, Huilai abalone farming has a history of more than 30 years, especially with wrinkled plate abalone hybrid abalone breeding and seedling technology is well-known. According to statistics, at present, the county has more than 170 abalone factory breeding enterprises, breeding area of more than 5,000 acres, annual output of abalone 2,000 tons, abalone fry more than 4 billion grains, annual output value of more than 1.5 billion yuan, driving more than 10,000 local employment.
