Lu's little tree frog

The Loh tree frog is endemic to Hong Kong and is only found on Lantau Island, Lamma Island, Po Tai Island and formerly Red Wax Horn. Their habitat is usually woodland of small rivers or other water sources nearby. Because most of the small tree frogs inhabit the ground or dead leaf piles, the color of their backs and their markings will be similar to the color of their surroundings, thus creating a protective effect.

The Lu's small tree frog is the smallest frog, with an average length of only 1.5 to 2 centimeters. The little tree frog has tiny suction cups on its fingers and toes that can be used to adsorb branches and leaves. They are brownish on the back and have crossed markings.
