TV is the killer?

Numerous studies have suggested that watching TV for long periods of time is not a good thing!

Recently, a study that followed 490,000 people found that if you limit watching TV to two hours a day, 5.6% of deaths and %8 deaths from cardiovascular disease can be avoided.

Previously, a Dutch study showed that for every 1.5 hours of tv viewing on an average of 2.8 hours, the risk of coronary heart disease events increased by a relative 44%.

A study conducted by Gu Dongfeng and Vincent Sen of Fuwai Hospital showed that for every hour of daily TV watching, the likelihood of getting diabetes increased by 9.2%.

Studies of children found that the longer two- and three-year-olds spend in front of various screens, the worse their communication, exercise, problem-solving, and social skills at the age of three or five.

In addition, studies have found that children who spend more time watching TV are more susceptible to commercial advertising, and more often pester their parents to buy these unhealthy foods and drinks, resulting in a 59% risk of obesity and overweight.

Studies in Australia have found that children who watch TV a lot when they are young have lower bone density when they grow up and are more likely to suffer from osteoporosis or fractures in old age.

It seems that it is not an exaggeration to compare television to invisible killers.
