The oil gourd belongs to the "yin insect", the habit is diurnal and nocturnal, and the male insects are singing at night, so many insect friends will call the oil gourd upside down and let it sing during the day.
There are four commonly used techniques for calling:

Pressing method: every night the insect is placed in a small bamboo tube or a homemade paper tube, because the space in the tube is small, so the worm can not be bladdered, wait until the next morning to release the worm, feed the upper arms, use this method to call, three or five days can be successful.
Illumination method: Also known as "light inversion method", it is a method of inversion that players have recently developed. Keep the worms in the shade during the day and illuminate them at night, so that they last for one to two weeks, and when the worm's biological clock is reset, they can chime during the day.
