The technical capacity building of the Erenhot Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has achieved a comprehensive breakthrough

It was learned from the official website of the Inner Mongolia Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that in recent years, the Erenhot Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has increased investment, reformed and innovated according to the needs of inspection and quarantine reform, and made comprehensive breakthroughs in laboratory construction, testing capacity, and scientific research index capabilities, providing strong technical support for inspection and quarantine law enforcement.

First, new breakthroughs have been made in laboratory construction. Implement the regionalized partition management mode of professional laboratories, adhere to the people-oriented improvement of experimental conditions, carry out hardware transformation such as ventilation, water and electricity in all laboratories, and install independent access control systems in all professional laboratories to ensure the safety of experimental personnel and environmental safety. At present, the animal inspection laboratory has built a regional central laboratory with BSL-2 biosafety technical conditions; the plant inspection laboratory has become a regional central laboratory and is applying for the construction of a state key laboratory; the chemical ore laboratory has been relocated and transformed, forming a new laboratory with reasonable layout, improved conditions and optimized facilities.

The second is to achieve new breakthroughs in testing capabilities. It has the ability to cover animals and plants and their products, food, chemical products, mineral products and other fields, and can carry out domestic and foreign commissioned testing, identification, isolation and quarantine, risk analysis, insect census and health pest control effect detection, and fill the three gaps in the whole region system: First, it has mastered the independent development of six infectious disease detection technologies for imported horses such as equine rhinosis, equine nasal pneumonia, equine infectious anemia, equine virus arteritis, equine influenza, equine disease, and equine disease, which has completely changed the history of relying on testing. Second, the detection of plant transgenic components and the detection of molecular biology of diseases are at the forefront, and for the first time in the whole region, bacterial black spot fungus of cruciferous family, silkworm seed, dark brown severed eye tianniu, sassafras pine beetle and so on were detected in the whole region. Third, through the on-site assessment and blind sample comparison of international laboratories, the overseas entrusted business of detecting toxic and harmful elements of mineral products has been undertaken for the first time in the whole region system.

The third is to achieve new breakthroughs in scientific research and standard-making capabilities. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in 11 scientific research projects of the State Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Support Program, the Autonomous Region and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, formulated 5 national standards and 8 line standards, and completed 3 invention patents and 5 utility model patents. He has been included in 4 papers in SCI journals, 25 papers in core academic journals and collections, and edited or co-edited 3 monographs. In addition, the first draft of the risk analysis report of four imported grains such as barley, wheat, rapeseed and buckwheat exported to China was drafted and completed, and a retrospective review report on the analysis of the risk analysis of two imported grains of rapeseed and barley exported to China were completed. At the Scientific and Technological Work Conference on the Inspection and Quarantine System in Inner Mongolia held recently, 1 department under it won the advanced collective of "Science and Technology Inspection", 2 second prizes and 3 third prizes for scientific research projects, 3 outstanding scientific research workers in "Science and Technology Inspection", and 5 excellent papers in "Science and Technology Inspection", and the level and number of awards ranked in the forefront of branches in the region.
