This year is the 40th "Bird Love Week" in China, just when the whole society popularized the knowledge of loving birds and improved the awareness of bird love, some people acted against the wind, wantonly hunted wild birds, and destroyed wildlife resources. Recently, the forest police brigade of the Licheng District Branch of the Jinan Municipal Public Security Bureau arrested the suspect suspected of illegal hunting.
On April 21, 2021, the Forest Police Brigade of the Licheng District Branch of the Jinan Municipal Public Security Bureau discovered in its work that someone was illegally hunting wild birds near the Yellow River Dam. The Licheng District Forest Police Brigade, together with the Huashan Police Station and the Licheng District Landscape and Forestry Bureau, immediately arrested a man who was using a sticky net to illegally catch birds in the woods near the Yellow River Dam, and seized more than 20 wild birds with the tools used to commit the crime and hunted more than 20 wild birds.
After review, the criminal suspect An Mou caught 26 wild birds in the above locations on April 20 and April 21, 2021, and after the identification of the staff of the Urban Landscape and Forestry Bureau, the illegally hunted wild birds include: brown-headed crow finch (brown-winged crow finch, alias: golden snub-nosed monkey bird) 9, 5 black-tailed wax-billed finches, 4 yellow finches, 5 dark green embroidered eyes, and 3 white-headed quails (aliases: bald eagles), and the above 5 wild birds belong to the national "three haves" protected animals (see below for a brief introduction). At present, the criminal suspect An Mou is suspected of illegal hunting and has been taken criminal compulsory measures by the Licheng Public Security Bureau.
