Lintong pomegranate was introduced and planted by Zhang Qian in the Han Dynasty to the Western Regions, and has a history of more than 2,000 years of cultivation. In order to excavate and protect the historical heritage and cultural connotation of "Lintong Pomegranate", Lintong District Liuyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. carried out research on the protection of pomegranate ancient trees and the green planting of traditional pomegranates in Lintong. In September 2021, Liuyuan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. was identified by the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Lintong District as an "Important Agricultural Cultural Heritage Protection and Inheritance Demonstration Base", and recommended the company's park as "Lintong Ancient Pomegranate Garden".
It is reported that in order to let consumers eat the old taste of Lintong pomegranate, the company registered the trademark "Ze Durian" brand, radiation drove surrounding farmers to plant and sell more than 1,000 acres of pomegranates, and the company's growers increased their average income by 50,000 yuan. At the same time, the "Ze Durian" trademark was identified as a green food A-class product by the China Green Food Development Center, and was identified as one of the 10 experimental demonstration bases in Shaanxi Province at the Shaanxi Pomegranate Industry Technology System Launch and the 2020 System Construction Work Conference and awarded the license, the "Ze Durian" brand won the "Houji Award" of the 27th Yangling Agricultural High Council, and in November 2020, it was recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as the main body of national agricultural product safety and nutrition and health science popularization production and operation.
