From October 20 to 21, Xie Chuntao, deputy director of the Central Party School (National School of Administration), and Shi Zhonghe, deputy director of the Cadre Education Bureau of the Central Organization Department, led a research team to our city to investigate the work of the Party School and the education and training of cadres in Yuxi City.
Wang Li, secretary of the municipal party committee, accompanied the investigation and introduced the city's economic and social development at the forum, and reported on the education and training of cadres and the work of the party school in our city.
Wang Li said in the report that the Yuxi Municipal Party Committee adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously studies and publicizes the "Regulations on Cadre Education and Training Work" and the spirit of the national and provincial cadre education and training work conferences, innovates the "Six Ones" learning mechanism, continuously improves the professional quality and ability of cadres, actively expands education and training methods, promotes the implementation of the grass-roots cadre theme training action plan in the new era, and continuously promotes the scientific, institutionalized and standardized cadre education and training work. Combined with the actual situation of Yuxi, the city implemented three theme training programs of "one pole and two districts", party building leading grass-roots governance, and plateau lake protection and governance, and planned to train 58,000 grass-roots cadres, and achieve full coverage of grass-roots cadre education and training by September 2022.
In the work of the Party School, the Yuxi Municipal Party Committee has always regarded the cause of the Party School as an important part of the Party's cause, deeply studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important instructions on the Party School running and governing the school, fully implemented the "Regulations on the Work of the Party School (Administrative College) of the Communist Party of China", adhered to the fundamental principle of the Party School surnamed the Party and the policy of strictly administering the school, focused on the main course, deepened the teaching reform, strengthened the construction of the position, innovated and created fine works of legal research and study, told the story of Nie Er and the national anthem, and insisted on placing the work of the Party School in a prominent position. Ensure that the work of party schools always advances in the right direction.
Xie Chuntao fully affirmed the education and training of party schools and cadres in our city. He said: The Yuxi Municipal CPC Committee and party organizations at all levels attach great importance to the education and training of party schools and cadres; the education and training coverage is extensive, the teaching content is rich, the hardware facilities are well built, and attention is paid to the building of the contingent of teachers; and the work and achievements in all aspects are quite prominent. In the next step, it is hoped that Yuxi will thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important instructions on party schools running schools and governing schools, give full play to the functions of party schools, further expand the coverage of training, increase the education and training of grass-roots party members and cadres, enrich the teaching mode through multiple channels, aspects and forms, enrich the teaching force, continuously enhance the effectiveness of cadre education and training, improve the level of teaching, scientific research, administration and management, and make positive contributions to the high-quality development of local economy and society.
Xie Chuntao proposed that Yuxi should conscientiously summarize the good practices and experiences in practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, and provide high-quality teaching cases for cadre education and training.
At the symposium, the research group asked questions and exchanged views on how to strengthen the construction of grass-roots party schools, effectively achieve full coverage of the education and training of party members and cadres, improve the teaching level of teachers in grass-roots party schools, strengthen the construction of the teaching team, and give play to the role of party schools.
The research team also went to Chengjiang City to investigate the construction of ecological civilization and the work of grass-roots party schools, and held discussions and exchanges with relevant responsible persons of cities, towns and communities to understand the work of grass-roots party schools and the education and training of party members and cadres.
Li Chaowen, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee and director of the Compilation Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Yang Ji, executive vice president of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee (Yunnan Administrative College), and municipal leaders Li Hong, Duan Dengwei and Wang Zhihua attended the forum or accompanied the investigation.
