On the afternoon of October 20, the first meeting of the Tenth Committee of Taojiang County of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held the fourth plenary meeting and closing ceremony, Zhou Denggao, deputy secretary of the county party committee and acting county governor, delivered a speech, and Yang Kaibo, secretary of the party group and chairman of the county CPPCC committee, delivered a closing speech. Jiang Shengfeng, vice chairman of the CPPCC county committee, presided over the meeting. The municipal party committee's change of work style supervision group, the county party committee, the county people's congress, the county government, the county CPPCC committee, the county people's armed forces department incumbent county leaders, the secretary of the party group of the county people's court, the secretary of the party group of the county people's procuratorate, and all the county CPPCC members attended the closing ceremony.

Hu Fulin, chairman of the Proposals Committee, made a report on the examination of the proposals on behalf of the Proposals Review Committee. As of 5:00 p.m. on October 19, 2021, the committee members have submitted a total of 83 proposals, covering various fields such as political, economic, cultural, social, and ecological construction in the county, and 68 cases have been reviewed and filed, 1 case has been merged, and 15 cases have not been filed, with a case filing rate of 81.9%.
The meeting adopted the "Political Resolution of the First Meeting of the Tenth Committee of Taojiang County of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (Draft)", the "Resolution of the First Meeting of the Tenth Committee of the Taojiang County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on the Work Report of the Ninth Standing Committee (Draft)", and the "Resolution of the First Meeting of the Tenth Committee of the Taojiang County committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on the Report on the Work of the Proposals of the Ninth Standing Committee (Draft)".
On behalf of the county party committee and the county government, Zhou Denggao extended warm congratulations on the successful holding of the meeting and the successful election of the new leading body of the cppcc county CPPCC committee, and extended cordial greetings and good wishes to the new CPPCC members attending the meeting.
Zhou Denggao pointed out that the achievements of the past five years have embodied the wisdom and strength of the ninth leading collective of the CPPCC county committee and the vast number of CPPCC members. In the past five years, the county CPPCC has firmly grasped the two major themes of unity and democracy, faithfully performed its duties, devoted itself to action, contributed good policies around the overall situation, dared to take responsibility pragmatically, widely publicized consensus, and united and coordinated forces, making important contributions to promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the county. In the future, the county government will continue to take the initiative to carry out political consultation, consciously accept democratic supervision, actively create good conditions and provide strong guarantees for the CPPCC to play its role, and ensure that the CPPCC has a political status, the weight of suggestions, the stage of contribution, and the results are reflected. All constituent departments of the county government will humbly absorb opinions and suggestions, conscientiously handle the motions of the cppcc members, and jointly create a good atmosphere conducive to the development of the CPPCC cause. At the same time, it is also hoped that the county CPPCC committee and its members will continue to support the government's work.
Zhou Denggao said that during the meeting, the committee members put forward many high-quality proposals, and after the official handover of the county CPPCC committee, the county people's government will organize and handle the proposals as soon as possible, and earnestly handle the motions well, do a solid job, and achieve results, so that the wisdom and achievements of the committee members can play a full role in promoting the high-quality economic and social development of Taojiang.
Zhou Denggao hoped that all CPPCC members would closely unite around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial, municipal and county party committees, and make new and greater contributions to accelerating the construction of a rich, beautiful, and happy new Taojiang and realizing the second centenary goal with the attitude of only striving for the day, the spirit of fighting bravely and moving forward, and the work style of seeking truth and pragmatism!

Yang Kaibo hoped that in the next five years, all CPPCC members will further carry forward the fine traditions of the CPPCC, perform their duties, be upright and innovative, serve the people wholeheartedly, and never fail to live up to the trust of the organization and the great trust of the people.
We must persist in always upholding the principle of the party's absolute leadership over the CPPCC and earnestly guide politics in the steering wheel.
