South Korean entertainer Sun Seung-won was sentenced to one and a half years in prison for drunk driving

South Korean entertainer Son Seung-won was sentenced to a year and a half in prison by a court today for drunk driving.

Sun Seung-won was detained in the early hours of December 26 last year after driving a car in the early morning of Seoul's Cheongdam-dong area, where he was found to have not only drunk driving but also escaping after the accident.

Sun Chengyuan had said in a previous trial that he was being treated for panic disorder and that no matter what the court decided, he would accept it with an open mind.
