Public network poster news reporter Lu Li Weihai reported
Salvage and rescue, event security, rush to Wuhan... In the relay again and again, one after another, Chen Fangchao, who is only 29 years old and has been awarded the "Wenden Good Man", continues to show the responsibility and strength of young people in a new era. On October 27, the reporter met Chen Fangchao, who was participating in the training of the Wenden Blue Sky Rescue Team. Talking about his original intention to join the Blue Sky Rescue Team, Chen Fangchao said that he would start from that day in 2018.
A rescue changed the "trajectory" of his life
At about 4:00 a.m. on June 7, 2018, the Special Patrol Brigade received an order from 110 that someone drowned in the Baolong River on Wenden Kuncheng Road and needed help. Chen Fangchao, who was still a patrol officer of the special patrol brigade of the Wenden Public Security Bureau at the time, received orders to rush to the scene immediately, and arrived at the scene to find that the woman who fell into the water had been in the water for nearly 10 minutes and disappeared. Chen Fangchao immediately put on a life jacket, carried a lifebuoy, and swam to the accident site, but because the water was too deep and dark, he fished at the accident site for half an hour without results. The police at the scene immediately reported to the command center and requested to coordinate the salvage of the Blue Sky Rescue Team. Chen Fangchao, who worked a night shift and participated in the salvage work, returned to the scene after work to assist the Blue Sky Rescue Team in salvage. After more than two hours of platooning, the blue sky rescue team sonar search, and finally found the drowning body. Chen Fangchao saw the rapid efficiency and professionalism of the Blue Sky Rescue Team in water rescue, and he was more eager to use his own strengths to save others. After this rescue, Chen Fangchao resolutely applied to join the Blue Sky Rescue Team. Since then, Chen Fangchao has opened his own new life "trajectory" and constantly contributed his "positive energy" on the road of rescue.

Every rescue is a reverence for life
One day in July 2019, Chen Fangchao was driving a friend out to play, and when he was passing through the Kunlong Reservoir in Gaocun Town, Wenden District, Weihai City, he heard someone calling for help, so he hurriedly parked the vehicle on the side of the road and ran to the reservoir to check the situation. At this time, Chen Fangchao found that someone was floating and sinking in the water, and kept waving for help. Chen Fangchao immediately ran to the edge of the reservoir, and jumped into the water without taking off his clothes. Chen Fangchao reminded the two people who were already swimming in front while swimming.
The bottom of the Kunlong Reservoir is a trapezoidal ditch with underwater vegetation. If you are not careful, your vision will be blocked by floating water weeds, and you may also be entangled in water weeds, making it very difficult to rescue. Chen Fangchao calmly commanded the other two personnel to rescue him with his previous rescue experience. After three efforts by Chen Fangchao and the two companions of the drowning person, the drowning person was finally lifted out of the water. Subsequently, they worked together to rescue the drowning person ashore and provided emergency care. Soon, the drowning person was rescued by Chen Fangchao and turned the crisis into safety. Seeing that the drowning person's vital signs had returned to stability, and the drowning person's companion was crying with joy, Chen Fangchao silently drove away from the scene. This is the first person Chen Fangchao successfully rescued without teammates and relief supplies. In the next few days, Chen Fangchao was immersed in great joy, saving a fresh life, which meant saving a complete family.
In the early morning of September 7, 2019, the Blue Sky Rescue Team received a call from the police station in the jurisdiction, and someone drowned on the north side of the Salt Machine Traffic Light Bridge, requesting the Wenden Blue Sky Rescue Team to assist in rescue and salvage. After Receiving the rescue team's attendance instructions, Chen Fangchao quickly assembled with his teammates. In the early hours of the morning, the scene was dark, it was raining heavily, and the rescue conditions were very bad. Chen Fangchao and his companions urgently deployed and prepared rescue materials such as lifeboats, sonar, and compressed air bottles for rescue, and began to rain and salvage on the dark river. After repeated sonar detection, the location of the drowning victim was finally confirmed. Chen Fangchao told reporters that this was the first time he had salvaged the bodies of the victims. In the endless darkness, repeatedly searching in the unknown waters, Chen Fangchao was under tremendous psychological pressure. "At that time, I was actually very scared, but no matter what, I had to find people and let the deceased rest in peace." In Chen Fangchao's rescue log on that day, he was full of regret for the deceased. The 35-year-old young life was frozen on this rainy night, which also gave Chen Fangchao a great touch. Since then, Chen Fangchao has increased his usual physical training efforts, and he hopes that in the future rescue, he can be more firm and powerful.
Write the original intention and mission on the "frontline"
After participating in the Blue Sky Rescue Team, Chen Fangchao, in addition to conscientiously completing his own work, used his spare time to actively participate in rescue activities such as drowning salvage and event security activities, and accumulated more than 40 public welfare drowning salvages. People who are familiar with him know that Chen Fangchao, who is hot-blooded and strong, will always rush to the forefront of needing him.
In February 2020, when the new crown epidemic struck, Chen Fangchao and his teammates arrived at the frontline of epidemic prevention in Wenden for the first time to help various communities and units in Wendeng to eliminate and prevent epidemics. After completing the local elimination and epidemic prevention work, Chen Fangchao actively responded to the unified mobilization of the Shandong Blue Sky Rescue Team and set off for the frontline of Wuhan, becoming the first batch of Blue Sky Rescue volunteers in Shandong Province to fight the epidemic in Wuhan.
Because of his experience in rescue and training for many years, after arriving at a joint emergency warehouse for epidemic prevention and control donation materials in Huangpi District, Wuhan, Chen Fangchao quickly adapted and quickly threw himself into work in the face of a relatively difficult environment. With a total area of 7,300 square meters, this warehouse is close to Wuhan Tianhe Airport, and is mainly responsible for the reception, registration, transportation and distribution of materials from relevant institutions to Wuhan, and ultimately ensures that relief materials can be efficiently and accurately distributed to the front line. The Wenden Blue Sky Rescue Team belongs to the first echelon of the Shandong Provincial Support Wuhan Team, and Chen Fangchao is also the youngest party member in the Shandong Provincial Volunteer Team. Chen Fangchao is very honored to be able to participate in the fight against the epidemic as the vanguard of party members. In his work, he always grabs heavy work, tired work, dirty work, and absolutely obeys orders, never considers personal gains and losses, and works hard and complains, whether in the middle of the night or when temporary emergency tasks, Chen Fangchao is in the front. After 12 days of hard work, Chen Fangchao successfully completed the task and returned to Wenden safely.
Chen Fangchao's teammate Zhao Linlin revealed that Chen Fangchao has donated 2,000ml of blood in the past two years, and his actions have driven colleagues and teammates around him to join the unpaid blood donation. In Zhao Linlin's words, Chen Fangchao's figure can be seen wherever there is a need.

Through Chen Fangchao's rescue log, we can see the great joy of successfully saving lives and the infinite regret of not being able to save lives recorded by him in the three years of joining the Blue Sky Rescue Team. Between the lines, you can feel Chen Fangchao's cherishing of life and his eagerness to save others. For Chen Fangchao, he has long been accustomed to the rescue of "walking away", and backpacks filled with rescue supplies are available on the car and at home. "I want to do my best to help more people." In Chen Fangchao's heart, he hopes that every time he struggles to rescue, he will go to "life" and "hope".
