Every singer has his own way of writing, some are inspired, some are handy. Yoyo is different, she told Huawei Music that the process of her own creation is more like an exploration of her own senses, from trying to write songs, she subconsciously practiced, "If there are any ideas or feelings that you can write a song, you can capture it and write it, such as when watching a movie, you suddenly have feelings for a line, write it down first, and then this sentence may be developed into a lyric or a theme, or suddenly a melody appears in the brain and then record it immediately, and then write it completely when you have time." This habit has been preserved to this day, although most of these exercises will not appear in the official album, but this has cultivated their mature and stable creative mentality, and they will not feel pressure in the real album creation.
After three years, Cen Ning'er's mentality towards creating albums is more mature. I no longer want to control everything as much as I did when I wrote my first album, so I am no longer nervous, and I always remind myself that when things are not in my control, there are unexpected gains. After determining the theme of the new album "Nothing is Under Control", she only took over the songwriting and designated the producer's candidate, and the arrangement, the choice of musicians and even the shooting of the MV, she only preset the musical part, and the whole album is a state of "taking one step at a time". Even the title song "Ride", which should have been selected last, was the first to be finalized, and the process was very casual. Although there are too many presets in the details, the theme and musical style of the entire album Nothing is Under Control have not been shaken in the slightest, making the final product very satisfactory to me, and I hope that such an album can be recognized by everyone.

The song "One Second" is sung by Shum Ning Er and Eason Chan, the first half of the song is like an ethereal story, some despair and some sadness; and in the second half, Eason Chan's voice rises, as if there is a response on the other side of the silence, which is surprising and moving. As early as 2012, Shum Ning'er wrote a song "Run" for Eason Chan and was invited to sing with it. Six years later, the new album L.O.V.E was released worldwide. Today's "One Second" is also recorded by the two of them. The two songs have similarities, and the male and female voices intertwine and resonate in time and space, as if they are a dream. When recording "One Second", Cen Ning'er excitedly described to Huawei Music the mood that the song wanted to express: "Two parallel selves are both dreaming the same dream, both running, and they may never intersect with each other, nor do they know each other's existence." So I invited Eason Chan to help me in singing. When the other party conceived, he also thought of the need for Cen Ning'er's voice to perform and coordinate. So the two hit it off and completed the production of two songs.
