Hou Zhen, born in 1984 in Laizhou, Yantai, Shandong, graduated from the Chinese Painting Academy of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2009 with a bachelor's degree, and was admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts the following year to pursue a master's degree. In 2013, he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, studied under Professor Cui Xiaodong, obtained a master's degree (state public funds), and his works "Yunzang Rain Dispersion", "Zhangjiajie", "Zhengrong" and other works won the Excellent Creation Award (the highest award) at the graduation exhibition, of which "Zhangjiajie" was collected by the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is a young painter of Li Keyan Painting Institute and currently lives in Beijing.
