The role assignment of the costume drama "Dark Gear" starring Ying Tai has been completed. Naoto Ogata, Yasuo Daichi, Cang Nakamura, Mishako Renfo, Kazuya Takahashi, Shizukawa Ishibashi, Masanori Tsukayama, and Kazuo Nakamura will star.

This work is adapted from Shuhei Fujisawa's novel of the same name, a suspense drama in which 4 men gather due to the gathering of mysterious men and rob merchants of money. Eita plays sasuke, the male protagonist who lives in poverty in a dark world, and Hashimoto plays Ibei, who provides Sasuke with a way to make money. Sasuke and the three regular guests of the Ugly Girl Tavern, Ogata, Daichi, and Nakamura, become partners. The shopkeeper, FanHua, is played by Kao Nakamura. In addition, there are Renfo as Kie, Takahashi as Shinseki Tatsumi, Ishibashi as Kumi who lives with Sasuke, and Tsukayama as Okumura.

Directed by Tomohiko Yamashita, who has filmed the TV series Onihira, "Dark Gear" will be released on January 19 next year at the Uchi-ToEI Theater in Tokyo-Maru and in the center of the five major cities across the country.
