On July 12, the reporter walked into the deep mountains of Chaoquan Town in Feicheng City, only to see rows of beehives in the valley arranged in a staggered manner, and groups of bees flying in and out happily. Liu Jianhong inspected the beehive while explaining the knowledge of beekeeping to Yang Forest, a beekeeper who came to study.

Speaking of Liu Jianhong, president of the Tai'an Bee Industry Association, many people gave a thumbs up, not only because he was a good beekeeper, but more importantly, he targeted poor households with conditions and labor ability, taking the form of providing skills training, free distribution of beehives and high-quality queen bees, so that poor households brewed "rich honey" through their own hands.

Liu Jianhong has always insisted that integrity is the foundation. In 2009, due to market reasons, the purchase price of honey of 11,000 yuan per ton was only 6,200 yuan per ton, a loss of nearly half. Some beekeepers have crooked minds and mixed with fake honey.

"We collected 2,400 pounds of substandard honey from the beekeepers, and everyone advised Chairman Liu to turn a blind eye, but he poured out the honey hard." Li Bo, a truck driver of the Tai'an Bee Industry Association, said. Liu Jianhong's reputation is getting louder and louder in the circle, and Feng Jirang, head of Weifang Xinwei Bee Industry Co., Ltd., praised: "Liu Jianhong is now synonymous with the integrity of our industry." "Nowadays, the product standards of Tai'an Bee Industry Association are high and the quality is good, and it has become the source of honey in Anhui, and its products have reached European and American standards."

"One person is not rich, everyone is rich." Under the leadership of Liu Jianhong, the Tai'an Bee Industry Association has grown from 50 beekeepers at the beginning to 580 households, from 7,000 boxes of bees to more than 70,000 boxes, driving the average annual income of poor households to increase by about 10,000 yuan.

"We didn't let the beekeepers take a penny, and purchased property insurance worth 365 yuan for each beekeeper, benefiting more than 1,600 people in total." This gives poor households more security on the road to poverty alleviation. Liu Jianhong said, "Watching poor households get rich through beekeeping, I am happier than I am making money myself." Beekeeping is a hard and sweet cause, and in the next step, I will work with beekeepers to let more people have such a sweet and rich career. ”
