Jimu News reporter learned that on the 28th, the man was recovered by the fishermen and confirmed to be killed, and his specific identity and reason for jumping into the river are not clear.

Multiple videos taken by Mr. Yang show that in the river water near the Songhua River Bridge, a number of fishing boats and speedboats circled and searched near the piers, and a number of fishermen who were fishing stood on the shore, and one of the fishermen, Uncle Zhang, witnessed the whole process of the man jumping into the river.

Uncle Zhang said that at 1 p.m. on the 27th, he rode his bicycle to the waters near the Songhua River Bridge as usual to fish, and saw a young man standing at the railing of the bridge and turning outward, seemingly ready to jump into the river. The companion behind the man chased after him to block it, but the man threw himself away and jumped into the river, and then the companion called the police.

Uncle Zhang said that before the incident, many people accompanied the man, and at first his falling position was closer to the pier, and he had the opportunity to climb the pier to wait for rescue. However, due to the wide and deep water, the man gave up self-help and struggled in the water for a while before disappearing.

Mr. Yang, the photographer of the video, told Jimu News that he saw that many fishing boats found by the fishermen were being salvaged, and then the police rushed to the scene and found a local civilian rescue team to participate in the rescue.

According to insiders at the scene, the man is 19 years old. After the incident, the local government found 3 fishing boats and 2 speedboats to search in the waters near the bridge, but it was not found until 9 a.m. on the 28th, when the man's body was found by a fisherman and salvaged ashore.

On the 28th, jimu news reporters contacted the Songyuan Municipal Public Security Bureau. The staff said that on the afternoon of the 27th, a young man did jump into the river, and after the incident, the police have intervened in the investigation, and it is not convenient to disclose the specific circumstances such as the reason for jumping into the river.
