In the just-concluded Shenzhen 2021 Primary and Secondary School Students Art Exhibition and Performance Activity, the students of Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District won 6 first prizes and 1 second prize in more than 1,000 selection projects such as art performances and fine art works in the city with solid artistic skills and positive mental outlook. Among them, 4 projects were selected to promote provincial competitions, ranking among the best in the city's schools.
In the category of art performance, Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District participated in three groups of works: the dance "After Winter", the chorus "New QingpingLe Village Residence" and "Sisi Sote", and the folk music "Treading Snow and Looking for Plums".
The creative idea of the dance work "After Winter" of Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District is based on the post-epidemic era, telling the beautiful scene of children fading in the face of the haze after the epidemic, embracing the spring day and returning to school. With its smooth dance posture and full of emotions, the work won the first prize in the primary school group and represented Shenzhen in the finals of Guangdong Province.
The choral society presents two works, "New QingpingLe Village Residence" composed by song dynasty lyricist Xin Renjie, and "sisi sote" with African national customs, one movement and one stillness, rigidity and softness, and jointly interpreted the vigorous spiritual outlook of Hongya students. The work finally won the first prize in the vocal primary school group.
"Treading Snow and Finding Plums" is an original work of the Folk Orchestra, composed by a famous Chinese composer for the Youth Chinese Orchestra, which is inspired by the story of Meng Haoran's journey to find plums in the snow. The children's wonderful, rich and delicate interpretation won the second prize in the instrumental music primary school group in this selection.
In the fine arts category, which was tutored by Principal Lin Wenjian and various art teachers, Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District won the first prize of two painting classes, one calligraphy class, and one art workshop.

Also winning the first prize in the painting category was the Chinese painting "One of the Peace of the Motherland". This picture scroll, which combines contemporary current affairs thinking and opera character modeling, continues the characteristics of Chinese painting creation in Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District for many years and shines brightly.
The calligraphy work "Lishu Looks Like a Seven-Word Lian" is tutored by a specially appointed full-time calligraphy expert. As a "National Calligraphy Education Demonstration School", Hongya Primary School pays special attention to the inheritance of students' traditional calligraphy culture, and has won many awards in various competitions. This time also lived up to expectations, won the first prize of Shenzhen City and selected the provincial competition.
As an emerging art category in recent years, the "Painting paper room" three-dimensional book workshop of Hongya Primary School in Bao'an District takes fine art as the core and handicraft practice as the carrier, and shows the new style of contemporary aesthetic education in the connection of interdisciplinary comprehensive literacy. The first time the workshop participated in the exhibition, it won the first prize at the municipal level and was selected for the provincial competition.
