According to a number of Italian media reports on the 18th, the Naples police seized a previously stolen Da Vinci painting masterpiece "Savior" in a local apartment. The owner of the apartment has been taken into police custody on charges of harboring stolen goods.
The stolen painting was created in the 15th century and is based on a work of the same name by Leonardo da Vinci. It was originally housed in a church museum in Naples. The original Leonardo da Vinci was auctioned for a record $450 million by Christie's in 2017.
