As China's only national music professional comprehensive award, this year's Golden Bell Awards was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, with a total of 44 high-level music competitions and series of special concerts in four projects, of which the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra brought two performances: special concert and closing music.
On October 23, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra began its musical journey in Rongcheng under the baton of Yu Long, a famous conductor, vice chairman of the Chinese Music Association and music director of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
In the "Golden Bell Award for Chinese Music and 'Rongcheng Autumn' Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert", Huang Ying, a famous soprano singer who has collaborated with Shanghai Symphony for many times, and Zuo Zhang, a pianist, once again held hands with the orchestra and joined hands with Ding Shande's "Lover Sends Me Sunflowers" and vocal suite "Western Yunnan Poetry Banknote" and "The Sun Comes Out happy" and other Chinese folk song adaptations at the Sichuan Grand Theatre, as well as Mussorgsky's "Dawn on the Moscow River", Rachmaninoff's "Paganini Theme Rhapsody", Ravel's "Ravel's "Rhapsody on the Theme" Bolero" and many other classic works of the East and the West.
The Shanghai Symphony Orchestra has a relationship with the Golden Bell Awards. In 2001, the two resident composers of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra won each at the first Golden Bell Awards.
Qu Wei won the "Lifetime Achievement Award", Zhu Jian'er won the silver medal for "Instrumental Music and Large-scale Symphonic Choral Works" for "The Tenth Symphony "Jiang Xue"", and Zhu Jian'er won the "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the 3rd Golden Bell Awards.

These excellent vocal works show the attempts and explorations of the older generation of composers represented by Ding Shande on the road of music nationalization.
