Perhaps most viewers began to know the director through one of his "revenge trilogy." In this trilogy, on the form of tension, "Kind Gold" can be regarded as the most.
In addition to deviating more from the classical narrative than the other two, the film is more extreme in terms of color, scheduling and editing, as if the little demon domesticated by Park Chan-wook in the first two films broke through the shackles and let go of his hands and feet.
