Through his understanding of Lishu over the years, he sorted out the "six major laws" of Lishu: First, the Lishu structure is basically "flat lili", usually four or six parts; second, the basic pen used in Lishu is "horizontal and vertical"; third, it is the "key pen" that embodies the personality of Lishu, that is, the "silkworm head swallowtail" pen; fourth, when dealing with multiple strokes in the same direction, its spacing is equal, which is the difference with xingkai; fifth, the principle of letting go of the insertion of the air can make the structure ingenious and rigorous; sixth, the taboo of the Lishu is "swallowtail double flying", that is, there are many key pens that appear in the same direction. "Lu Jishun's Different Lishu" was formed under the guidance of such a law.
The old Lu Jishun summed up his calligraphy style with four words: positive, that is, to transmit positive energy, every word should be correct on the ground; heavy, every stroke is solemn; jun, like a person, handsome, pay attention to reasonable structure, with a concise pen; live, make people feel at ease, not imprisoned. In the conversation with Lu Lao for several hours, the most mentioned thing he heard was the "life" of calligraphy writing, which is also a crucial point in Lu Lao's summary of his calligraphy style. He believes that in the profound Chinese culture, "three" is the most complete, the most discriminating, the most analytical, the easiest to memorize the transmission, use and effective implementation of the "scientific probability". For example, people have three major capitals: appearance, skills, and personality. Appearance is generated, skills are learned, and personality is cultivated, which is the foundation of the world. Lu Jishun used the "three threes" to summarize the profound spirit of sinology: one is the three great prosperity (wenjing zhizhi, zhenguan zhizhi, kangqian shengshi); the second is the three major religions (Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism); and the third is the three major national arts (national treasure calligraphy, national essence Peking opera, and guoshu martial arts). In summary, the three sentences: for the original music group, dedication and self-improvement, balance and harmony. The art of dissemination of this culture has injected a fresh spring breeze into the dissemination of sinology and the dissemination of modern corporate culture, aesthetic culture and even literature and art.
