Filming of the TV series Drifter (TV Asahi, which aired Friday at 11:15 p.m.), which will begin airing on July 23, starring actor Koshi Saito, recently began filming. The original filming was a scene of a naked man played by Saito "floating" to the coast, and the scene was also made public.

"Drifter" was curated and originally produced by Yasushi Akimoto, who has produced works such as "Your Turn" (Nippon Television) and "Co-Acting NG" (TV Tokyo). A mysterious man (Saito) who drifts to the coast leads people to solve a series of sensational events in the world, and is revered as the "Godfather"... story. In Episode 1, three female high school students are walking along a coast when they find a naked man (Saito). After being taken to the hospital, the man was suspected of having a memory impairment and had swam quite a long distance. Responsible physician Eiichi Kunihara (Funaetsu) suggests that if there is something that comes to mind, write it down, and the man begins to depict a landscape somewhere.
