What exactly is yoga?

Nowadays, as long as people hear yoga, it is equal to highly difficult movements, and they will sigh: "Yoga is too difficult, it is definitely not suitable for me" and think that "yoga is action, action is yoga."

What is even more strange is that in the minds of yoga practitioners, they consciously or unconsciously distinguish the level of yoga skills based on whether they can make difficult movements.

Under the guidance of such a practice mentality, yoga lovers blindly pursue high difficulty, high difficulty symbolizes high level, and more students can be recruited to achieve economic income generation, so the difficult action has become the inner volume of yoga. In order to increase the income, I had to make difficult movements against the limits of my body, and after being injured and suffering from yoga, I secretly went to surgery.

But this is no longer yoga!

Throughout the past two or three decades, the state of Yoga in Our Country has always been in a very preliminary stage.

Its specific manifestations are: there is no reason for the law, the comprehensive quality of the teachers is low; blindly pay attention to asanas, ignoring the focus of yoga practice on the level of qi pulse and mentality; there is no real sense of yoga academic seminar, and so on.

In India, yoga has a history of five thousand years or even seven thousand years. At the heart of Indian civilization. The development of yoga is the development of traditional Indian culture such as Indian philosophy, religion, and various schools of thought.

So what exactly is yoga?

Yoga originally meant the process of domesticating beasts into poultry, and then evolving into the process of domesticating our minds is called yoga!

Yoga is actually a philosophical concept, in fact, the entire Oriental culture is called yoga, that is, the domestication of the mind! The vast majority of people are not domesticated.

The process from mortal to holy, from dirt to purity, from irrationality to reason, from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom is yoga!

Biology is not cultural, civilized.

Biologicality is irrationality, pulled by materialism, and yoga is a process of domestication, not a result.

The primary purpose of yoga is adulthood, and the ultimate is sanctification, which is complete reason.

To be unacestimated is to be irrational.

Saints have no dreams--- dreams refer to irrationality, that is, saints are absolutely rational.

Truth is true reason, or truth for short.

The philosophical system of yoga has always been characterized by practical empirical evidence in the six schools of Indian orthodox philosophy.

All the doctrines, all theories, all the views, all the ideals in the philosophy of yoga must be put into practice to test and realize.

One of the main points of the sutra retrieved by master Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty is the treatise called the Treatise on the Land of The Yogi. What is expounded is a buddhist treatise on the main realms that yogis experience in the course of their practice and the views that arise correspondingly to that realm.

Many of india's sages were great yogis, such as Patanjali, the author of the Yoga Sutra, Shakyamuni of Buddhism, and Mahatma Gandhi in the 19th century. The achievers of Tibetan tantra in our country are called yoga masters, such as Padmasambhava, Choying Dorje, Milarepa, Tsongkhapa and so on!

To practice yoga is to understand yoga from the source, the origin of yoga, the meaning of yoga, the role of yoga, the classification of yoga, the development of yoga, these basic framework knowledge.

Thus knowing how to practice yoga.

The two fundamental texts of yoga --- the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutra

The Yoga Sutra is comparable to the Analects in the history of Indian culture and has been called the "Analects of India"

The Bhagavad Gita predates the Yoga Sutra by about three hundred years, and it is equivalent to the Tao Te Ching in the history of Indian culture in Chinese history, and almost all the outstanding people in India have directly or indirectly studied the Bhagavad Gita.

Since the birth of the Yoga Sutra in the 2nd century AD, countless philosophers, yogis, religious figures, politicians or writers have commented on and explained the Yoga Sutra.

But looking at these commentaries, posterity has the wrong understanding that the Yoga Sutra, like the commentaries on these commentaries, is a religious code, a guide to faith.

For two thousand years, the Yoga Sutra has been regarded as a Hindu classic.

In fact, the Yoga Sutra is not a religious scripture, but a science of life practice that has achieved ultimate awakening through strict yoga practice, and is a yoga philosophy classic, a complete system of life cultivation works.
