In late September 1939, Liu Renshou entered Shanghai from Hong Kong with Pan Hannian and worked as a newspaper clerk in the Japanese and puppet organs, using the radio stations of the Japanese and puppet organs to send newspapers to Hong Kong and other places. His girlfriend, Huang Chengzhen, is responsible for the internal transportation work of the Pan Department in Shanghai.

In the summer of 1942, belle Road's underground radio station was detected by the Japanese gendarmes. When Liu Renshou talked about this matter, he also felt a lot of pressure. Because before, he was just a student, an assistant. Everything has a leader to take care of him, don't worry about him. But from 1947 onwards, as a leader, he had to think independently of many things and deal with problems that he had not been able to reach before.
In the 1990s, when Liu Renshou flipped through Li Kenong's biography, he read a message about himself. In the Battle of Huaihai, an intelligence on the enemy's deployment was particularly important for its victory. This information is the earliest and most complete information received by the Platon Army in this war, and it was also transmitted by Liu Renshou to the CPC Central Committee.

The next day he said he was sick and needed to return to Nanjing to recuperate. When he arrived in Nanjing, he passed the information on to Pan Hannian, who entrusted Huang Chengzhen to bring the information to Liu Renshou.

Li Bai was arrested and imprisoned for the second time, and the situation was more dangerous than the first time, which also made Liu Life more remorseful. Recalling this incident, he said:
"He devoted his main energy to gathering intelligence, underestimating the technical capabilities of the enemy's telecommunications detection, so that Li Baitai sent reports in the same place for more than two years." At that time, Li Zongren of the Kuomintang found his old relationship Liu Zhonghua and invited him to Nanjing to discuss "peace talks" with the Chinese Communists. Liu Zhonghua, who had been the head of the Special Branch of the Central Committee, attached great importance to this matter and believed that he needed the consent of the CPC Central Committee before he could go to Nanjing. However, the telegram he sent to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has never been replied to, so there has been no action.
When Liu Renshou persuaded Liu Zhonghua to go to Nanjing, he learned of this. He analyzed the pros and cons of the matter to Liu Zhonghua, and at the same time called Li Bai and his wife to ask them if they could send a report to the Central Intelligence Department that night.
But unexpectedly, it was not Li Bai and his wife who answered the phone, but the landlord who covered them. The other party only said that Li Bai and his wife were sick and were admitted to the hospital.
Such an abnormal situation naturally aroused Liu Life's vigilance. His heart sank, and he knew that Li Bai and his wife had been arrested in all likelihood. If he hadn't made this call beforehand, but went straight to it, I'm afraid that at this moment, he would have been imprisoned. But the crisis still exists, and Liu Renshou is also in danger of being arrested at any time.
For the sake of safety, Liu Renshou and others destroyed the passwords, documents, and archives in the organization overnight, decided to evacuate immediately, and went to the Intelligence Department of the South China Bureau of the Central Committee of Hong Kong to continue their work according to the organizational arrangements. Liu Also told his members that if they were unfortunate enough to be arrested, they would push everything on his head.
At that time, the atmosphere in Shanghai was very tense, there were spies everywhere, and it was very difficult to escape. In the end, it was Huang Chengzhen who found huang Jinggen, his brother who was the director of the radio station in the Kuomintang coastal defense force, and thought of a way.
Huang Jinggen already knew that his brother-in-law Liu Shoushou and his sister Huang Chengzhen were Communists, but he still decided to find a way to cover their departure from Shanghai. To be on the safe side, Wong arranged for Liu Ren to leave by transport ship, while his sister Wong Cheng-jin flew directly to Hong Kong.
On the eve of the liberation of Shanghai, on May 7, 1949, Li Bai was secretly killed by the Kuomintang along with other Communists. At that time, Li Bai was only 39 years old. Li Bai's death has also become the most chagrinful thing in Liu Renshou's heart.
After liberation, Liu Shengli successively served as deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the East China Bureau, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee, and deputy director and director of the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.
His wife, Huang Chengzhen, served as the chief of the personnel section of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau and the deputy director of the Economic and Social Security Department of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau. In 2006, Huang Chengzhen died of illness. On March 12, 2009, Liu Shengli finally died at the age of 89 due to ineffective treatment.
