"Fire extinguishers have been installed in every building, entertainment venue and vegetable market, and we have also equipped fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to pass through the purple river where fire trucks can't drive in." Tan Li, secretary of the community party committee, said.
Ziqiao community is an open community, with a large floating population and large fire safety hazards.
To this end, the community has set up a fire volunteer service team composed of more than 30 people, patrolling in the jurisdiction from time to time every day, dealing with dangerous situations in a timely manner, and reporting to the community at the first time if it cannot be handled.
"The Ziqiao community belongs to the old community, there are more restaurants, there are great safety hazards in the use of electricity and gas, the community regularly checks the façade every quarter for the safety of electricity and gas, distributes fire safety leaflets, and requires stores to install gas alarm devices." In order to further improve the fire safety quality of residents and enhance the ability of the community to resist fires, The Ziqiao community carries out large-scale fire safety knowledge training twice a year, organizes residents to carry out fire drills, regularly sends fire safety publicity knowledge in the grid resident group, and distributes nearly 2,000 fire safety leaflets throughout the year.
It is understood that by the end of 2021, the Ziqiao community will add 2 micro fire stations, 100 fire hydrants and 150 fire extinguishers, and more than 30 fire hydrants have been installed and more than 100 new fire extinguishers have been replaced.
