The "Chairman Shi" of the father and son population is Shi Haiyong, executive deputy manager and chairman of the trade union of the third standard project department of Line 9 of The Chongqing Branch of China Construction Tunnel, who came out of a remote rural area and has deep feelings for migrant workers.
In order to enhance the happiness of migrant workers at the construction site, he often leads the organization of special meetings to encourage project employees to contribute ideas, speak freely and boldly express ideas; organize and plan trade union activities to enhance employee feelings; dock with various labor teams, understand their difficulties and needs, wholeheartedly solve problems for migrant workers, and enhance team cohesion.
A little "home" on the construction site
Shi Haiyong, 38, was born in a poor rural family in Hebei And grew up with his parents in the countryside. Because his family was poor and could not afford to pay the tuition, relatives of migrant workers in the same village came to help him, and they used their hard money to fund Shi Haiyong's schooling. Now he is still particularly touched in retrospect, which also makes him have a special feeling for migrant workers since he was a child.
A mobile board room, a small steel frame bed, a simple wardrobe, a washstand, this is Shi Haiyong's deepest impression of the migrant workers' dormitory. Shi Haiyong, who once ate and slept with migrant workers in the shed, deeply experienced the hardships of the workers' work and the hardships of their living conditions. He was determined to improve the living conditions of the workers.
The reporter learned in the project department that Shi Haiyong, who is also the chairman of the trade union, organized trade union members to exert the strength of the trade union and apply for living subsidies and daily necessities for migrant workers. Uniform distribution of clothing and bedding, the addition of freezers, washing machines, televisions, bathing equipment, migrant workers to work in the project department only need to bring toiletries, to solve the worries of migrant workers.
Happy migrant workers
At the construction site, the reporter encountered Luo Zeyang, a migrant worker, who was communicating with his son about sending money to his wife. Lao Luo said that last month, their father and son each received 10,000 yuan in labor remuneration.
Shi Haiyong introduced that there were a total of 838 migrant workers in the two sections of the project department. According to incomplete statistics, the wages of migrant workers in 2021 increased by 30% compared with 2016.
It is understood that Shi Haiyong insisted on sending box lunches to the scene for migrant workers and implemented free meals for migrant workers. A reward system for each labor force for the early completion of construction nodes has been formulated. So far, the project department has issued a total of 1 million yuan of node bonuses.
In addition, the project department also spends 100,000 yuan every year to send coolness to migrant workers in summer and warmth in winter.
Lead employees to be rich and well-off
"Muddy, gray-headed"! The reporter saw in the 40-meter deep well that in order to successfully complete the construction of the ventilation port of the Xiaolongkan Subway Station on Line 9, Shi Haiyong and the workers carried the muck and building materials with their bare hands. "Successful teams have no losers, as long as they work together, there is no unfinished task." Shi Haiyong always keeps in mind his work philosophy.
"Migrant workers have made great contributions to urban construction, and as a project leader who is also the chairman of the trade union, I have no reason not to care about them!" Shi Haiyong said that the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 9 3 Standard Xiaolongkan Station needs to build seven ventilation safety wells. Due to the special geographical location of the mountain town, three of the shafts had to be built on the mountain. Digging wells on the hillside location, it is impossible to build a construction channel. The muck generated by the excavation of the well, the transportation of building materials, the narrowness of the construction site, and how can workers safely enter and exit the construction work are the biggest risks and problems.
Shi Haiyong told reporters that after communicating with technical personnel and on-site workers, it was finally decided to rely entirely on manpower to carry all the slag and building materials. The migrant workers of the project department implement a 24-hour stationing and shift system. And the first time to set up a "special operations team" WeChat group, coordination of production, material supply, logistics support and other departments, prevention and timely solution of multiple problems on the scene. After the concerted efforts of the team and 150 days of hard work, the initial construction of the ventilation shaft was finally completed, which created favorable conditions for the successful completion of the task during the construction period.
The reporter learned in the interview that after Graduating from University, Shi Haiyong went south and north, successively participated in the construction of the Zhengxi High-speed Railway, the Zhunshuo Railway, the Mengmen Railway, the Chongqing Metro Line 4, Line 9, 12 standards, 3 standards and other national key engineering projects, and worked in various positions, technicians, technical supervisors, project chief engineers, and then to the current chairman of the trade union. No matter in which project or position, Shi Haiyong strives to be the best and strive for the first class, and he interprets the perseverance and purity of the engineers with practical actions.
It is understood that Shi Haiyong has won the National Science and Technology Innovation Award, the second prize of the National Engineering Construction Excellent Quality Management Group, a number of utility model patent certificates, and the national, provincial (ministerial) level excellent QC achievement award.
