In order to further standardize the management of the joint public security defense team, on the morning of October 25, Shiqi Town held the inaugural meeting of the public security joint defense team in the conference room on the sixth floor of the town government. More than 100 people attended the meeting, including Fang Baocheng, secretary of the party committee of Shiqi Town; Chen Gensen, deputy secretary of the party committee; Zhuang Shuogui, member of the town party committee and director of the police station; Fang Xiande, branch committee member of the population brigade of the Panyu District Public Security Bureau; responsible persons of relevant functional departments; secretaries of party organizations in various villages (communities) and agricultural science institutes; directors of public security; public security captains, and representatives of public security officers.
At the meeting, Fang Baocheng stressed: Public security work is related to the safety of the masses' lives and property, and the building of a contingent of public security joint defense units is a long-term and arduous task; all units should adapt themselves to the new situation and new requirements, place the work of building the contingent in a prominent position, fully arouse the enthusiasm of the contingent, earnestly shoulder the political responsibility and mission of "ensuring the safety of one party," and push the work of public security to a new level.
At the meeting, Zhuang Shuogui interpreted the work plan for the construction of the public security joint defense team and deployed related work, and the representative of the qiaoshan village public security joint defense team made a statement. Subsequently, Fang Baocheng awarded plaques to the town public security joint defense brigade and 18 public security joint defense squadrons one by one.
Fang Xiande fully affirmed the construction of the public security joint defense team in Shiqi Town in the early stage, and put forward specific requirements for the next stage of work.
