January 28, 1987, the Chinese New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year, the day of reunion of thousands of families. People sat around the TV set, watching the CCTV Spring Festival Gala with relish, and laughing from time to time.

With the continuation of the program, a steamy and affectionate "Blood-Stained Style" has touched the hearts of hundreds of millions of people. The audience, who had just smiled and leaned forward and backward, entered a moment of tranquility and contemplation.

"Maybe I say goodbye and will never come back, do you understand?" Do you understand? Maybe I will fall down and will no longer get up..." Xu Liang, who was sitting in a wheelchair, entered the screen, and his affectionate singing touched the hearts of thousands of people. Xu Liang, a vocal college student at the Xi'an Conservatory of Music who threw his pen from Rong in the 1980s, became a well-known hero who was awarded the first class merit in the front line of Laoshan Mountain.

Xu Liang has loved singing since he was a child, and he dreams of becoming a well-known vocalist in the world of singing one day. Driven by this ambition, Xu Liang began to pursue tirelessly.

After graduating from Yuyuantan Middle School in Beijing's Haidian District in 1979, some of his classmates went to college, some of them went to factories, and he was unemployed at home. In 1980, Xu Liang became an auto mechanic. His busy work did not interrupt his studies, and he used all his free time to train his vocals assiduously.

Where there's a will there's a way. In 1982, in the competition of thousands of competitors, Xu Liang was admitted to the vocal music department of Xi'an Conservatory of Music with the first place in the major, becoming one of only two tenors in the same class.

However, his originally quiet university life has set off waves. In October 1985, the college came to the Laoshan Yingmo Report Group. The heroic deeds of frontline soldiers in killing the enemy and defending their families and defending the country deeply infected Xu Liang and his classmates. He and 27 other cadets jointly wrote an application for going to the front line to perform for the soldiers.

Their request was granted. Xu Liang and his classmates rehearsed a group of programs to come to the front line. Day and night on the front line, Xu Liang's heart surged with passion. Once, when they went to the unit to perform, they looked down the stage, and Xu Liang was surprised to see that thousands of commanders and fighters were all bald. In the eyes of ordinary people, a bald head may be unsightly. But at this moment, xu Liang's heart was deeply touched, and he felt that this was a kind of spirit and a fearless heroism.

What made Xu Liang even more unforgettable was the blood book pasted by the soldiers on the wall of the headquarters, from which he saw the sacrifice and dedication of the young soldiers for the motherland.

After careful consideration, Xu Liang put forward an application to sign up for the army. On December 13, 1985, Xu Liang put on his military uniform as he wished and rushed to the battlefield of blood and fire.

In order to bring joy to the soldiers, Xu Liang played a good role, where there is him, there is a song, and his comrades-in-arms call him "battlefield lark". In more than 3 months of combat training, Xu Liang also taught the soldiers more than 100 songs.

The pre-war training was over, and to the surprise of the cadres, Xu Liang actually hit the first place in the whole company for the first time when the new soldier hit the target. Xu Liang said proudly: "When I was unemployed at home, I was already a sharpshooter, and the air gun hit the bird in a hundred shots!" Three points are a line, and I mastered it ten years ago. ”

Considering that Xu Liang had a special skill, the division considered assigning him to work in the regimental propaganda unit, but he stubbornly said: "I have come to fight, I will go to the front, and what is more, I will sing to the comrades in the front." ”

Xu Liang's request was finally granted, and he and 14 comrades squatted in a cat's ear hole. Due to the fire blockade of the Vietnamese army, the supply was not available for a while. Especially the lack of water, the soldiers' lips were cracked, and Xu Liang's throat was dry like smoke, but he still sang for the soldiers to boost their morale.

At the risk of their lives, the military soldiers finally brought food and canned fruit to the position, and gave everyone an oil-soaked roast chicken, and everyone was happy. But Xu Liang needed moisture to moisten his throat, and regrettably exchanged the canned chicken for roast chicken.

This seems to be a "loss-making transaction", but Xu Liang did not expect to "earn". It turned out that these roast chickens were slightly spoiled due to the delay in transportation, and most of the 14 comrades-in-arms had diarrhea after eating, but Xu Liang was safe. After Xu Liang's singing voice sounded, the comrades-in-arms quipped: Fortunately, Xu Liang did not have diarrhea, otherwise no one would use the song to comfort us!

On May 2, 1986, the Vietnamese army sneaked into our position. The Vietnamese sniper rifles, submachine guns, and machine guns screamed wildly, and the bullets swept in like a fierce wind, and a group of Vietnamese troops, under the cover of fire, quietly approached our position.

Xu Liang and his comrades-in-arms rose up to fight back, bullets poured out, bare rocks were hit by bullets and flew everywhere, the bodies of the Vietnamese army were lying on the front of the position, and our army was constantly wounded and sacrificed.

Fighting is brutal and sacrifices are possible at any time. The gunfire stopped, and Xu Liang wrote a suicide note in the position:

"Dear Mom and Dad: On the battlefield, it's hard to say how. If I go, it's glorious. This is my wish. You should be proud! Don't be upset, don't cause trouble for the troops. Goodbye! Let me call out to Daddy, Mommy! Mom, Dad! ”

The night fog rose, the smoke lock fog was swirling, blurred, and the highlands became black and mushy. At this time, 4 Vietnamese troops carried explosive canisters and sneaked into the command post of our army. Xu Liang, who was observing the enemy situation at the sentry, keenly detected the movement of the Vietnamese army, but it was only more than 20 meters away from the enemy.

Xu Liang did not have time to think about it, and quickly asked another comrade-in-arms to call the platoon commander to inform him that he was alone and quietly detoured to the Vietnamese army.

"Boom, boom!" Xu Liang threw 2 grenades in a row, and 2 Vietnamese soldiers were killed on the spot. The other 2 Vietnamese hid in the bushes in an attempt to resist. Xu Liang rolled over, rolled to the platoon command post, and shouted: "Platoon commander, the Vietnamese army has come up!" Then another barrage of bullets was fired, and an arrow lay on a slope to change the magazine. At this time, the comrades-in-arms heard the sound of gunfire and rushed out of the post to move closer to Xu Liang. When Xu Liang saw that the situation was dangerous, he shouted: "Quickly disperse and lie down!" Before he could finish speaking, a bullet broke the femoral artery vein in his left thigh, and he collapsed in a pool of blood.

Due to excessive blood loss, most of Xu Liang's left leg muscle necrosis, hemorrhagic shock, toxic shock and acute renal failure are complicated.

Ten days passed, the hospital did its best to rescue the young warrior, and there was a long line of blood transfusions outside the operating room door, and everyone had only one wish, to save the soldier's leg.

However, Xu Liang's injuries were deteriorating, and sepsis threatened his life. An old doctor told him that in order to save his life, he had to have his leg amputated. Xu Liang lost his mind for a moment and shouted, "I want legs, not lives!" The medical staff present all shed tears of sadness.

Xu Liang woke up from his coma, the pain of nine surgeries and amputations still tormenting him, his sweat wetting the sheets again and again. Xu Liang's body was infused with 25,000 CC of blood before and after, which was equivalent to the total blood volume of four or five people. What touched him the most was that there was a doctor in his 50s, his lover was paralyzed in bed and needed to be taken care of, but she silently lined up in the blood transfusion line, just wanting to help this young man.

The unit was awarded xu Liangji's first-class battle merit once and promoted to deputy instructor. Xu Liang became a heroic model of college students joining the army to serve the country, he walked into the Great Hall of the People, walked into the Spring Festival Gala, and his deeds touched thousands of people.

The hero is 60 years old, the blood is fearless, walking down the old mountain, the battlefield of life has just begun. May the heroes be happy and healthy, and may all the soldiers and relatives who dedicate their youth and blood and even their lives to defend the motherland be happy!
