Experience tells people to play while they are young and in good health, otherwise they will never be able to play again without the advantage of age. Now generally I will not choose the "scenic area" when I do the strategy, this time it is an accidental increase in the itinerary, but also a lesson.
The scenic spots of the Panshan Scenic Area are basically on the way down the mountain, and it is meaningless if you don't walk down the mountain. The way down the mountain has no specifications of steps, most of the whole process is based on the terrain to build an irregular stone road, potholes, some steps are very steep and small, some are even very slippery, some are relatively flat, in short, it is very difficult to walk. In the process of our walk, there was a young man who may have been too careless, fell hard, injured his ankle joint, and gritted his teeth and went down the mountain, estimating that he would have to go back for treatment for a while. We were fine, although the joints hurt at the end but at least they were not injured.
Panshan is located in the northwest of Jizhou District, Tianjin, and is a national 5A level scenic spot. It has a history of nearly 2,000 years, but its "world-famous" is mainly attributed to the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, who said the famous sentence "I knew that there were pan mountains, why go down to Jiangnan" after traveling through the thousands of mountains and rivers of the motherland, which made this northern mountain a famous mountain and water like Jiangnan. Now it is a tourist and leisure resort integrating "natural landscape", "royal culture", "Buddhist culture" and "tourism culture".
Originally, there was also a live performance of "The World Panshan". The story described in "Tianxia Panshan" is based on the love story of the Qianlong Emperor and the minnu Pan'er, and integrates buddhist culture into the landscape of nature. It describes the love between the Qianlong Emperor and the people's daughter Pan'er, because when the country was encountered by war and famine, Qianlong and Pan'er resolutely gave up the love between men and women for the great love of Cangsheng, showing the Buddhist thought of universal sentient beings and compassion for heaven and people. But it may be during the epidemic or there are not many tourists, so we did not have the opportunity to watch the show.
The terrain of Panshan resembles a giant dragon, coiled in the north of Jinbei, Jingdong. "Thistle North is mountainous, the mountain is victorious, and the plate is the most". With its peerless beauty, Panshan has attracted countless literati to travel and sing, and thus left many precious historical and cultural heritages, forming a panshan history and culture with strong characteristics.
Panshan is known as "the first mountain of Jingdong" and "East Wutai Mountain" and the name of "East Wutai Mountain" is well-known in the Buddhist world and well-known in the world. At present, the main landscapes are: Five Peaks and Eight Stones, Three Plates of Victory, Three Plates of Twilight Rain, Hanging Moon Peak, Yun cover Temple, Wansong Temple, Tiancheng Temple, North Shaolin Temple, Dingguang Buddha Stupa, Shuxia, Yuan Gem and so on.
What attracts us more is the "Panshan Luohan Garden" located between Panshan Tiancheng Temple and Shenniu Fudi, the sculptures in the park revolve around the Buddhist culture of Panshan Mountain, because the mountain is in place, because of the scenery, there are 35 groups of 108 sculptures, all carved from granite. The large group sculpture "Luohan Welcome" is the most adorable group of sculptures. It is different from the previous serious Arhat style, showing that they are casual after completing work, leisure or chat or doze off or naughty and playful scenes, each Arhat is thick and cute, giving people a sense of kindness, and enjoying with the people, really like.
Dingguang Buddha stupa is also a relatively special landscape, in addition to the stupa more than a thousand years ago, it is said that there are hundreds of stone pagodas in addition to the ancient pagoda with 60 relics, some of which look old, some of which are relatively new, with different shapes, and should be built in different eras. What I am more curious about is that the place where these stone towers are built is quite steep, and there is no easier staircase, and the stones that build the stone towers are quite large and heavy, and I don't know how the workers got them, it is really not easy.
The North Shaolin Temple is a relatively famous attraction, which is said to have a history of more than 1500 years, and is the earliest temple in Panshan and even Tianjin, but unfortunately we did not notice it or go inside to visit.
Panshan Scenic Area has steep mountains, full of flowers, layers of green mountains, thousands of green valleys, many temples, rich cultural heritage, and is indeed a famous mountain with beautiful scenery.
